Roofing Sheet - Bare galvalume Roof Sheeting : Providing and fixing single skin Trapezoidal profiled Bare galvalume Roof sheeting of 730 -1020mm cover width 28-32 mm crests depth at 186-250 c/c ( Above 195 mm c/c crest distance there will be minimum 2 ribs at the centre for stiffening). The feed material is manufactured out of 0.45 mm BMT (Base Metal thickness) Hi-Tensile steel with min. 550Mpa yield strength coated with hot dip metallic zinc-aluminium alloy coating Zincalume AZ-150 (as per AS1397) as 150 gms/sq.mt total on both sides of Zinc ( 45 %) & Aluminium (55%). The Steel manufacturers test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of steel must be submitted for approval prior to installation. The sheet shall have brand marking of the manufacturer on the back of the sheet at every 1 metre c/c for conforming genuinity of the material. The steel sheet shall be fastened using Class 3 (as per AS3566) of size as per design, galvanized hex self-drilling fasteners of approved make (TATA bluescope or equivalent) and quality including EPDM/neoprene washer on each crest of sheets for connecting with purlins (or as per design). Note 1: For roofing sheet only laid area shall be measured and paid for (laps etc., shall not be measured). The sheeting shall be generally laid in accordance with Technical Specifications and Contractor shall ensure water tightness at joints and at all locations and sheeting shall be roll formed at site without any end laps. Note 2: The contractor is to submit design and workshop drawings and take approval on the sheet profile, design and detail before installation of the sheets from the Engineer-in-charge. The measurement shall be based on per unit of finished/ covered surface area.
