Dismantling and removing the existing waterproofing treatments like tarfelt/APP membranes / Acrylic coatings etc., complete and disposal it from terrace and disposal from the Deep Bhavan premises as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge, including cost of labour, tools & plants, scaffolding, transportation for disposal etc complete.

Waterproofing Treatment - Undulations corrections: Check the entire terrace of proper slope, if any undulations, improper slope, the area to be marked and to be corrected with C.M. 1:3 admixed with polymer of 5% by weight of cement etc., Surface Preparation: Surface must be clean, dry and in sound condition to ensure adequate adhesion. Clean the application surface with wire brush, water, grinder the smooth surface to create a key as required. Remove all loose particles and jet washing to be done including supply of water by following appropriate standard methods for preparing the surface., if any cracks found it should be treated with polymer mortar etc., complete including cost of all materials, labour, tools & plants, scaffolding and transportation etc complete.

a)Application of Primer: Providing and applying one coat of epoxy based APCOFLOR HFP 130 or Equivalent (Certificate to be furnished by the firm and as approved) primer, apply the primer by using a Roller or Brush @ 150-200g/sqm consumption. If pinholes found, Filling with OPC mixed with epoxy primer Base +Hardener. Tentative mixing ratio would be 3:1 (Silica sand) and If the substrate has white patches, then apply a second coat of primer after 4 hours and before 6 hours of 1st application including cost of all materials, labour, tools & plants, scaffolding and transportation etc complete. b)Polyurethane Application: Supplying and applying High build elastomeric waterproofing coating based on pure, hydrophobic polyurethane, cold applied of spray / brush applied, membrane with an elongation of 550% and tensile strength of 2.5 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 2370, crack bridging ability of 2mm as per ASTM C1305, no leakage upto 7 bars of water pressure as per DIN 1048, shore A Hardness of min. 45 as per ASTM D 2240. The system includes final base preparation, primer application and applying Smartcare PU Magnum coating in two to three coats to achieve a min. thickness of 1.5mm, and the PU coating shall be extended to parapet walls FFLetc. complete as per Manufacturer's specifications including cost of all materials, labour, tools & plants, scaffolding and transportation etc complete.
