4) Casting tetrapods weighing 15 Te (approx.) using ready mixed or site batched M35 design mix plain cement concrete (Minimum cement content 370kg/M3) using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland / Portland slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including cost of shuttering, pumping of concrete to site of laying, vibrating, curing, carriage for all leads; and excluding finishing and reinforcement all as per relevant CPWD specification, drawing and as per direction including all material, labour, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel, sampling, testing of concrete, cranes, etc., complete. Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the specified minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement.

5) Handling, Lifting the existing PCC blocks which are retrieved and stacked within a lead of 2 km, transporting and placing on the seaward slope as Armour unit to the required level and alignment all as per relevant specifications and as directed including lifting, handling operations, labour, tools, tackles, cranes, plants & equipments etc., complete. Note: The contractor shall engage cranes of suitable capacity and boom length for smooth handling, lifting and placing.

6) Handling and transporting the existing Tetrapods weighing upto 15 Te. (approx) which are retrieved and stacked at nearby site with in a lead of 2 km and placing on seaward slope as Armour unit all as per relevant specifications and as directed including lifting, handling operations, labour, tools, tackles, cranes, plants & equipments etc., complete. Note: The contractor shall engage cranes of suitable capacity and boom length for smooth handling, lifting and placing.

7) Handling, transporting the newly casted Tetrapods weighing 15 Te. (approx) and placing on the seaward slope as Armour unit all as per relevant specifications and as directed including handling operations, labour, tools, tackles, cranes, plants & equipments etc., complete. Note: The contractor shall engage cranes of suitable capacity and boom length for smooth handling, lifting and placing.

8) Supplying, transporting and dumping / placing Type D stones (consisting of 50% 1kg to 50Kg stones, 25% 50 kg to 150 kg stones and 25% stones weighing above 150 kg) along the alignment of the breakwater for filling the gaps and spreading etc. all as per relevant specifications and as directed including all materials, labour, tools, tackles, plants, equipments, fuel etc. complete.

9) Supplying, transporting and dumping / placing Type C stones (consisting of 75% - above 1 Tonne. and 25% - 500 kg to 1 Tonne) along the alignment of the breakwater on the seaward and / or Harbour side slopes, placing the materials at randum in the gaps of the existing breakwater all as per relevant specifications and as directed including all operations, handling, labour, materials, fuel, tools, tackles, plants, equipments, cranes, etc. complete. Note: The contractor shall engage cranes of suitable capacity and boom length for smooth handling, lifting and placing.

10) Providing and laying M35 grade cement concrete for mass capping to the required thickness to match with the adjoining surface as per the site condition and as directed wherever required using ready mixed or site batched design mix plain cement concrete (Minimum cement content 370kg/M3) using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland / Portland slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete upto the site, laying, vibrating, curing, carriage for all leads; excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement all as per relevant CPWD specification, drawing and as per direction including all labour, material, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel, sampling, testing of concrete, cranes, etc., complete. Note: 1. Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the specified minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement. 2. The cost of centering and shuttering will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

11) Providing centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc., for providing mass capping concrete as per item no.10 and removal of form for the concrete elements/structure as per relevant CPWD specifications, carriage for all leads and as directed including all labour, material, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete.

12) Providing and fixing pre-moulded joint filler in expansion joints of mass capping concrete after making the joints dust free with high pressure air jet cleaners, all as per CPWD Specification and as directed including all labour, materials, tools & equipments etc., complete. (Pre-moulded joint fillers shall be made of bitumen hot sealing compound impregnated fibre board having impregnation more than 35%, conforming to IS:1838 for fibre board and IS: 1834 for hot sealing bitumen compound grade A.)

13) Provding and filling in position rubberized bitumen hot sealing compound for sealing of expansion/construction joints in mass cappping concrete using grade 'A' conforming to IS 1834 – 1984 or (its latest revision) and painting the edges of the joint with an approved primer all as per relevant CPWD specifications and as directed including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, fuel, etc., complete.

14) Loading, transporting and dumping the dismantled debris in the hollows of low lying area within a lead of 2 km all as directed including levelling at dumping site, including all labour, tools, transport, equipment, fuel etc., complete. Note: 1. The tenderer shall maintain trip sheets in triplicate in ChPA’s approved format at his own cost for the quantity of debris transported. 2. Interim Payment will be based on the lorry cubical content. No deduction of voids will be made for debris. 3. However, the final quantity will be restricted to actual quantity of dismantling / demolishing items.
