The vinyl thickness should not more than 60 microns without adhesive when measured using IS standard 2508:1984 or ASTM equivalent. The Adhesive of the film should clear and pressure sensitive. The liner of the Film should Synthetic, lay-flat liner that is not affected by water or humidity.The colored vinyl should confirm to class A rating for fire retardant as per ASTM E84 standard - (Standard Test Method for Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials) and pass DIN EN 13501-1 (DIN 4102) - (Fire Test to Building Material). Post : Providing and fixing 2 nos sign posts in 80mm dia NB MS Hollow sections fabricated along with its 6mm thick mounting plated welded to the mounting frame, provided with anchor bars welded to bottom for embedding in concrete. Entire post structure along with mounting frame to be welded and finished in PU paint to match GreyG3 colour. The item includes cutting and opening the floor afinish at location, excavation, fixing sign in PCC 1:2:4 as per drawing and finishing and making good the location to match the original finish after fixing and installtion of sign. Cost to include all activities and temporary props used for a perfect vertical and in plumb installation, fixtures nuts, bolts, screws, washers etc required for fixing the sign in an external location.

Exterior Totem Sign 2 Sided Post Mounted Providing and fixing illuminated totem in exterior areas of stations with the BMRCL symbol close to the entrance visible form approach road including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per relevant drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.Providing and fixing in position internal structure for sign made in 50x50x5 MS Angles and 6mm thick MS gusset plates and provided with 25x25x3 MS Square hollow section and 3 Nos 25 x 3 MS Flat rings for mounting LED Lights as per the drawing and dimensions. Entire structure shall be made as one unit and finishied in PU Paint to match Colour SIlver Metallic after all welding and grinding of burr, making holes/slots receving sign panels, fitting the tubelights and electronic ballasts, including provision of unpainted areas for welding the strcuture on post.Sign face shall be made in 8mm thick OPAL white acrylic (as specified) having graphics pasted in Plotter cut Block out vinyl pasted over a translucent white vinyl and entire panel covered with a protective over laminate.The structure shall have panels covering from top and bottm made in 4mm thick Aluminium composite Grey in colour with the bottom panel allowing for ventillation of the sign as approved by the Engineer-in-charge. The fixing at edges of the top panel shall be done using EPD gasket and also sealed using Silicon Sealant.The Sign structure shall be covered from bottom using Aluminium composite panels as per drawing with provision for opening for accessibiility and maintenance of the lights.

Providing a sign post of 150mm dia NB 5.4mm thick MS Hollow Section including welded base plate in 8mm thick MS Plate and gussets in 6mm thick MS Plate as per drawing with holes to fix it on holding down bolts anchored in concrete flooring. The post shall be closed with a 6mm thick MS plate and parts kept unpainted to weld the sign structure as per the drawing to ensure a rigid connection at site. Providing a 6A SPN MCB electrical junction box welded to the post as specified location and making holes in the post for passing electrical cable . The entire post assembly shall be painted in PU paint to match Colour GreyG3 as specified and approved by the Engineer-in-charge. The post shall alwyas be single continuous element without any joints. cost to include all activities and temporary props used for perfect vertical in plumb installation, shim plates for adjustment of levels and filling the gap with concrete slurry etc required for fixing the sign in external location. Providing and laying foundation for the Totem sign in PCC (concrete M20) including its compaction and all activities like Excavation, PCC base layer, Casting of holding down HTS anchor J bolts of 16mm dia using a sized template in MS 8mm thick for locating and accurate spacing of bolts as per drawing. Providing and fixing in position Sadarahalli stone pedestal in hand dressed rough finish surface in required size and shape as per drawing in 2 parts. Making cavity in stone for accomodating electrical box installing the two halves joined together ny fillimg plain concrete(M25) keeping a grove of 25mm wide recessed and finished as per drawing. 2mm thick SS clamps bolted and set in to 3mm thick grove made 150mm from Top and 200m from bottom of the pedestal to keep it intact and flushed to face. The item cost includes cutting and opening the floor finish at location, and making good the location to the match the original finish after fixing and installation of sign.

Providing and fixing sign face panels on 3 Panel sides of sign structure made out of 4mm thick Aluminium composite sheet white colour(as specified) folded and riveted over a frame fabricated in 25x25x3 Aluminium SquareHollow box section to required size and shape , with welded continuous mounting plates in 2mm thick MS Sheet aling the perimeter of the frame , complete frame shall be powder coated on all faces to match Grey G2 before receiving the folded Aluminium Composite Panel. All corners of sign face shall be finished and filled neat with white/clear silicon sealent. The BMRCL symbol shall be router cut using original artwork in Aluminium composite panel and matching a router step cut in 30mm thick clear acrylic shall be inserted in the panel cutout projecting the acrylic face out by 20mm on the outside.The Projecting face of the clear acrylic shall be covered with Translucent Vinyl to match specified colours(Pantone 2425C and Pantone 361C) and the sides are maintaineed matt for the light dispersion.. The BMRCL Logo trabslucent vinyl shall be of specified make duly approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. The sign panel shall be fixed to sign nmounting using Blind Rivets. Providing LED based lights having min 25mm overlap and placed at top and bottom of sign for the entire length as per the location specified in drawing. The continuous illumination along the length shall be achieved by using a combination of 2 ft & 4ft LED tube light fixtures of reputed make as approved by Engineer for acheiving 4000lm uniformly as required and provided with specified electronic drivers or/and equivalent make as approved by engineer-in-charge. The light fixture shall be fixed using screws and fastners on the provided stiffner channel inside the sign box. Cost to include all internal connections and external wiring for connecting to a nearest point left by the other contractor, end connectors, wire harnesses, groumets and snaps and clips for fixing the LED lights.

Providing and Erection of reflective road studs of category A raised pavement markers made out of poly carbonate / methyl methecrylate /ABS moulded body conforming to ASTM D 788 and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values conforming to ASTM D4280. The reflective raised pavement markers shall also confirm to the MORTH circular No RW/NH. 33023/10/97- Do.III dt 11.06.97. The height, width and length shall not be less than 15mm, 90mm and 100mm and with minimum reflection area of 13 sq.m on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/-5degree Each reflectors shall have a CIL not less than values specified in table 2 of said Morth circular. The strength of deteachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2mm and height not less than 30+/-2mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500Kgf. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer. The marker shall support a load of 13635kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280 and confirming to IRC 35-2015 guidelines and MORT&H specification 804 etc., with 2 years field performance warranty in complete. Providing and fixing of Standard Metal Delineator as per IRC 79-2019 consisting of minimum retro reflective unit exposed area of 330 cm2 white color, full cube corner micro prismatic non-metallic retro reflective sheeting on each side conforming with IRC 67 2012 and meeting the coefficient of retro reflection values as per ASTM D 4956 Type XI table specification. The delineator shall be painted with powder coat of minimum 40 microns thickness, on top of which retro reflective sheeting shall be pasted on both sides. The structure shall be manufactured in roll forming process and shall have height not less than 800 mm above the ground, width not less than 100 mm and shall extend not more than 300mm below the ground while being installed. The front and back faces of the delineator should be curved with a radius of not more than 200 mm and with delta angle (or central angle of curve) lying between 20 Deg and 30 Deg, to increase the visibility of the delineator for vehicles moving in continuous curves. The delineator shall have grooves across the length to make the reflective sheets vandal-proof. The delineator should come with standard warranty.
