Smooth finishing of the exposed surface of R.C.C. work with 6 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 fine sand)

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete:-

a) Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars.

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 5.0 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in :

a. Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 M sand)

Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate,including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised Rigid PVC rain water pipes conforming to IS : 13592 Type A, including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS : 5382, leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion, (i)Single socketed pipes.

a) 110 mm diameter

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised - PVC moulded fittings/ accessories for unplasticised Rigid PVC rain water pipes conforming to IS : 13592 Type A including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS :5382 leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion.

a) Single tee with door . i) 110x110x110 mm

b) Bend 87.5° i) 110 mm bend

Providing and fixing unplasticised -PVC pipe clips of approved design to unplasticised - PVC rain water pipes by means of 50x50x50mm hardwood plugs, screwed with M.S. screws of required length including cutting brick work and fixing in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and making good the wall etc. complete.

a) 110 mm

12 mm cement plaster of mix :

a) 1 : 6 (1 Cement : 6 fine sand).

15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix :

a) 1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand)

Cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement.

a. 12 mm cement plaster

White washing with lime to give an even shade:

a. New work (three or more coats)

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50metres lead :

a) With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 fine sand).

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Extra for cutting reinforcement bars manually/ by mechanical means in R.C.C. or R.B. work (Payment shall be made on the cross sectional area of R.C.C. or R.B. work) as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

a) In cement mortar

Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood) shutter including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within 50 metres lead :

a) Of area 3 sq. metres and below

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all loads including all lifts involved.

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge

a) 75 mm average thickness

b) 50 mm average thickness

c) 25 mm average thickness

Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer- In-charge complete in all respect.

a) Epoxy bonding adhesive having coverage 2.20 sqm/kg of approved make

Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make) modified Cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with polymer minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Note: Measurement and payment: The pre-measurement of thickness shall be done just after the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been doneand surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument and/or the 75 mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28 days to be not less than 30 N/Sqmm2).

a) 12 mm average thickness.

b)25 mm average thickness in 2 layers.

c) 50 mm average thickness in 3 layers

Providing, erecting, maintaining and removing temporary protective screens made out of specified fabric with all necessary fixing arrangement to ensure that it remains in position for the work duration as required by the Engineer-in-charge. a. Wooven PVC cloth

Removing the Grown up plants / Trees from the Terrace,buildings, pipes etc.,including the roots and cleaning the location with required acid all complete as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying water proofing treatment on roofs of slabs by (i)Cleaning the surface to remove all loose particles with wire brush (ii)Providing and applying two coats of Damp proof (Elastomeric modified acrylic waterproof membrane coating of approved brand of Dr. Fixit or Equivalent ) over the floor / wall surfaces with an inter coat interval of 3-4 hours @ 0.50 litre/sqm or as recommended by the manufacturer. The second coat to be applied at the right angles to the first coat. ( For the purpose of measurement the entire treated surface will be measured)

Supplying and fixing a Steel I section as per the design requirement including cutting , welding , jointing, Providing necessary Cement Concrete of 1:1.5:3 bed blocks of size 30cmX15cmX15cm on either side of the walls by making necessary holes including scaffolding for lifting the section to the ceiling height of about 4.50m, necessary enamel painting the Steel section all finishing this supporting work all complete as per the direction of the Engineer in charge. ( Steel section shall be paid for separately.)

Providing pressure injection grouting with necessary mechanical pumps and equipments having a pressure intensity not less than 140 PSI (10kg/sqcm) for treating porous RCC columns, beams, slabs and other members to make it air tight with non shrink free flow cementious grout of approved quality admixed with cement slurry (1part of water: 1part of cement and non-shrink compound both vertical and horizontal directions at locations as determined by Engineer-in-charge, injecting the cement slurry and sealing the grout holes after the grouting completed as per the following procedures. i) The locations of holes shall be determined and the surface around the holes shall be cleared off loose dirt, grit etc., the hole of 20mm diameter upto 100mm depth is to be in the RCC surface to insert a 20mm PVC pipe (15kg/sqcm). ii) Pipes of 20mm dia upto 100mm length shall be inserted in the specified locations and packed with cement and quick setting hardening compound mix for getting the pipe to with stand the applied pressure, all the honey combs in concrete also to be filled with cement and quick setting compound to aviod over flow of applied cement grout slurry during the injection process. iii) Cement grout slurry shall be applied gradually (in proportion 1kg "flow add" or equivalent: 25kg cement) at pressure of 5kg to 10kg per sqcm till the rejection of cement slurry, after the rejection, the opening shall be sealed with the cement and quick setting compound mix immediately to avoid wastage of slurry. iv) After the setting of applied grout the projected PVC pipes pieces shall be cut and the holes shall be finished to the line of exiting surface, all above process shall be executed as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Temporary arrangements to the existing RCC slab by providing the floor joist support jacks or Equivalent, up to 5.00 m ceiling height placed at 1.5 m centre to centre, maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The Plan area of the support arrangements shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of the support arrangments.

Credit for the Steel reinforcement recoverable from dismantling of RCC work including Loading / Unloading, Transport all complete as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.

Credit for taking away the available bricks from the dismantled brick work in the site including Loading / Unloading, Transport all complete as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.

Credit for taking away the available Wooden doors and Windows including Loading/Unloading, Transport all complete as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.
