CPWD DSR 2021 Items

Loading and leading of stone ballast from the stacks and spreading / putting thereof into the track to make good the deficiency at different locations including all handling / re-handling, ascent, 28 descent, crossing of track, nallah,dressing and boxing to make standard ballast profile with contractor's own labour, T & P and consumables, as per direction of Engineer in charge or his authorized representative. Lead shall be measured along the track alignment. The item includes putting, spreading, dressing and boxing of the ballast as a complete item, for which nothing extra shall be paid.

USSOR 2021 Items for Formation Works, Bridge Works and P.Way Works

Fabrication and assembling 'In Situ' Glued Insulated Rail Joint G3 (L) type as per Manual for Glued Insulated Rail Joints 2022 along with upto date correction slips. The rate includes all activities complete in all respect required for fabrication of In-Situ Glued Insulated Rail Joint. Note:- (i) In-Situ glued joints shall be checked for insulation as per Railway's satisfaction. The glued joint should behave 22 satisfactorily minimum up to 6 (Six) months from date of laying. In case of any defect detected in this period, the glued joint shall be replaced. Security deposit shall only be released after certification from site in charge regarding satisfactory behaviour of all glued joints minimum up to 06 six) months from the date of laying. (ii) Interse variation in quantity between item NS-1(a) and (b) is permissible and shall be considered within the scope of work. (iii) If glued joint will be fabricated on cess in Rail panels to avoid Alumino Thermic welds or work is done under non-traffic block condition as per direction of Engineer in charge, then payment will be made @ 90% of the accepted rate.

Shifting of existing turnout or derailing switch from its existing location to a new location in yard including removing ballast and muck by excavating up to required depth, preparation of formation bed, shifting to and laying of pre-assembled existing Turnout or derailing switch assembly at new location by Railway's T-28 machine, linking of track with all fittings, filling up of ballast duly screened; packing, adjusting, opening & housing of switch; testing operation of switch assembly and 37 attending track parameters, so as to make track fit for 20 kmph speed including disposing off muck to indicated places upto free lead after finishing of work etc. complete for -NOTE:(1) Rate includes making necessary preparation for T-28 machine movement like preparation of approaches, transportation and laying of wooden sleepers/blocks, etc., cutting of rails, if required with contractor's equipment, etc.(2) Dismantling of existing track at new location shall be paid under relevant USSOR 2021/NS item.(3) Linking of track at existing location after shifting of existing turnout or derailing switch shall be paid under relevant USSOR 2021/NS item. Rate shall be inclusive all central/state govt, taxes, manpower, tools and plants and all other consumable items etc.

Laying and linking of preassembled turnout or derailing switch by Railway's T-28 machine, removing ballast and muck by excavating upto required depth, preparation of formation bed, linking of track with all fittings, filling up of ballast duly screened; packing, adjusting, opening & housing 23 of switch; testing operation of switch assembly and attending track parameters, so as to make track fit for 20 kmph speed including disposing off muck to indicated places upto free lead after the block working etc. complete. Note: (1) Rate includes making necessary preparation for T-28 machine movement like preparation of approaches, transportation and laying of wooden sleepers/blocks, etc.(2) Payment for assembling new turnout or derailing switch shall be paid separately under relevant USSOR 2021/NS item.(3) Dismantling of track shall be paid separately under relevant USSOR 2021/NS item.

Non Schedule Electrical (General) Items

Picking up stone ballast (new and retrieved) and loading & leading from the stacks made along the alignment of the track and spreading thereof uniformly on the formation in stages as per 27 standard profile, dressing and boxing, including all lift, ascent, descent, crossing of nallah or any other obstruction etc. and specified leads with contractor's own labour Tools & Plants, equipment, consumables etc. as per special condition of contract and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Inter se variation in quantity between item 1 and 2 below is permissible and shall be considered within the scope of work.

Deduction for USSOR item no. 061021, 061022, 061031, 061032, if work carried out during without traffic block condition.
