Excavating trenches of required width for pipe cables, etc. including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth up to 1.5 Mtr. including taking out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc. and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50 Mtr.: All kinds of soil. Pipes cables, etc. exceeding 80mm dia but not exceeding 300mm dia.

Providing and fixing CLOSE timbering in trenches of sewer line and manholes including strutting, shoring and packing cavities (wherever required) complete. (Measurements to be taken of the face area timbered) for following depth below NGL.

Providing and fixing Barricading at site of work for restricting the general public using 80-100 mm dia Wooden Ballies as vertical post with average spacing of 1.80 meter between two vertical posts, having height at least 1.5 m above road/ ground level and at least 30-45 cm below road/ ground level by making suitable size hole in road/ ground, providing and fixing two rows of 80-100 mm Wooden Ballies as horizontal members with jute russies. Both vertical and horizontal members shall be painted in red and white colour strips as per approved pattern as and when it becomes shabby but at least after every alternate shifting at new location. After shifting/ removal of barricading holes shall be filled up properly and site is to be cleared in all respect. (Note: measurement is to be done in linear basis).

Providing, fixing, maintaining, shifting & refixing, barricading of a steel portable barricade with horizontal sheet 0.60 mtr wide, 2.4 mtr in length fitted on a “A” frame and sheet painted with 2 coats of yellow paint, lettering (CAUTION, JDA AT WORK, DRIVE SLOW) on sheet with RED paint & border with reflective paint at the time of every shifting, traffic diversion arrangement, safety guard, suitable lightning arrangement during night if required, complete in all respect till completion of the project as per technical specification and direction of Engineer-In-charge and same shall be possessed by the contractor after completion of the project. Payment under this item will be released:- (1) 50% at the time of providing new barricading at the time of start of project at location and plan as approved by the Engineer & certification (2) 50% After completion of project including shifting, re-erecting and maintaining the barricading in position, during entire construction tenure with requisite manpower/flagman etc. Complete for guiding traffic and safety etc and dismantling after completion of project.

Providing, lowering, laying, aligning, fixing in position and jointing at all level/ depths full round HDPE DWC (double wall corrugated) pipes of SN8 grade as per IS 16098 (Part 2) amended upto date in trenches in complete including all material, labour, sectional hydro testing (including the cost and conveyance of water to site for testing) and commissioning as per Technical Specifications, drawings and as per direction of Engineer. Note : E/w to be measured and paid separately. Length of pipe shall be measured in between the outer wall of two manholes / Inspection chambers. Providing, laying and jointing RCC NP4 jacking pipe (with steel pushing collar) with suitable leak proof joints (with using 12mm MDF sheets etc.) with compliance for maintaining slope as per design by trenchless method adopting Micro tunnelling method or any suitable mechanical technology below ground at all depth under running traffic condition including carrying out survey work at the job site for determining underground cable trenches like telephone, power cable, water & sanitary lines and resistivity tests for finding the soil strata using necessary equipment’s for completion of work, mobilizing of machineries and specialized crew at the job site, etc. complete in all respects, including excavation of drive pit and exit pit (upto 3 metre depth) with proper protection at the three sides, providing and casting of MS cutting edges for front shield and constructing thrust bed at designed level as directed by the Engineer, necessary de-watering and providing concrete foundations at the base of the Drive pit, crane for handling of pipes, and any other machinery, tool & tackles required, construction of temporary works as per requirement complete in all respect (all depths) with all lead and lifts, as per specification and the direction of the Engineer. Providing, jointing, laying, testing and commissioning of HDPE PE- 100/PN-6 (suitable for pulling method for jointing) pipes for sewer line as per IS-14333 (amended upto date) with compliance for maintaining slope as per design by trenchless adopting HDD method (Horizontal Directional Drilling) below ground at all depth including carriage etc. complete in all respect, construction of thrust pit and receiving pit of required size upto 3 metre depth and soil investigation, making suitable arrangement for barricading of pits, traffic diversion, lights, traffic permission from relevant authority (though department will assist in getting the permission), refilling of pits in compacted layers of 150 mm including disposal of surplus material with all lift and lead upto 50 metre as per specification and the direction of the Engineer.
