The bidder is required to have prior work experience in similar works, including experience as a Prime Contractor, in a Joint Venture, and as a Subcontractor. The bidder should have completed similar works, but the specific amount and percentage are not mentioned. However, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last seven years, as a prime contractor, one Bridge Work or Lining Work or Hydraulic Structure Work or Building Work or Mechanical Work or Electrical Works or Other Civil Works, of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Alternatively, the bidder should have completed two similar works of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder's prior work experience is assessed based on the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The value is updated to the price level of the year indicated in the Appendix to ITB, considering both completed and ongoing works. The bidder should have achieved an average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years, ending 31st March of the previous financial year, of at least 30% of the estimated cost for works above Rs. 5.00 Crores. The bidder should also have availability of personnel with adequate experience as required for this work, and should have submitted an undertaking that they will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation of work. Additionally, the bidder needs to provide evidence of access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities, which should be at least 10% of the contract value, certified by the bankers. For works above Rs. 5.00 Crores, the bidder is required to provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, duly supported with performance certificates from the authority for whom the work has been completed. The bidder should also have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of an amount not less than the estimated cash flow for 3 months in the peak construction period. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 80% of the estimated cost for one similar work - 50% of the estimated cost for two similar works - 40% of the estimated cost for three similar works - 30% of the estimated cost for average annual financial turnover - 25% of the contract value for minimum cash investment - 10% of the contract value for access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities - Rs. 5.00 Crores as the threshold for certain requirements.
