Dismantling of flexible pavements thickness above 50mm by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 meters, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately as per technical clause 202 of MORT&H specifications complete

Providing and applying tack coat with penetration grade bitumen VG-10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.40 kg per sqm cleaning the surface complete as per technical specifications

ii) The final grading for the aggregates required for bituminous concrete confirming to table 500.17 of MORT&H specifications shall be determined after getting the bituminous concrete designed from Punjab PWD, B&R Research Laboratory, Patiala after obtaining 60% of the material. The design mix so finally approved shall be termed as approved mix. The aggregates shall be hydrophobic and of low porosity. The aggregates shall satisfy the physical requirement set forth in table 500-6 (addendum to latest revision). iii) The approved mix shall exhibit the following details, source and location of all material: - (a) Binder expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (b) Course expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (c) Crushed bajri expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (d) Fine aggregate expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (e) A single definite percentage passing each sieve for mixed aggregates. (f) Density of bituminous concrete after compaction will be not less than 2.35 gm/CC.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion SS on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85kg/sqm complete as per technical clause 502 of MORT&H specifications

Providing Parapets walls on culverts at RD at KM 364.685, KM 364.790, KM 365.840, KM 366.010

Providing and laying Dense Graded bituminous macadam 50mm to 75mm thickness (Grading II) with batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @4.5% laying with hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment and roling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 505 of MoRT&H specifications "Notes:- I. The actual volume of the aggregate to be paid for shall be computed after deducting the specified percentage from the volume computed by stacks measurement as per MoRT&H specifications (addendum to latest revision) for the purpose of secured advance." II. The final grading for the aggregates required for dense graded bitumenious macadam course Grading 2 for 75mm/50mm thickness of each layer conforming to table 500-7 of MoRT&H specifications (addendum to latest rivision) shall be determined after getting the dense graded bitumenious macadam grading-2 designed from Punjab PWD, B&R Reserach Laboratory Patiala after obtaining 60% of material. The design mix so finally approved by shall be termed as the approved mix. The aggregates shall be hydrophobic and of low porosity. The aggregates shall satisfy the physical requirement set fourth in table 500-6 (addendum to latest revision).

Overhead sign board 12000x1500mm simply supported type double sided as per IRC 67-2012 with high intensity Microprismatic grade retro reflective Sheeting as per ASTM D 4956 – 09 and as per IRC 67 . fixed over 4mm thick aluminium Composite material (ACM) sheeting having aluminium skin thickness of 0.4 to 0.5 mm on both sided and fixing the same with suitable size aluminium alloy rivets @ 200 mm c/c to back support frame of 40x40x6mm angle iron supported on designed double support system of MS pipe and plates in the form of a simply supported type truss made with 350NB pipe @50kg per mtr as vertical support, 50NB pipe @ 4.50kg per mtr and 40NB pipe @ 3.61kg per mtr for truss including base plates, gusset plates, designed RCC foundation for fixing in ground complete as per clause 802 of MORT&H specifications. Supplier shall provide a warranty as per clause 6.9 of IRC 67-2012 for retro reflective sheeting & a certified copy of test reports from an independent test laboratory conforming to clause 6.7 of IRC 67-2012

Road marking with hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 0.25kg per sqm area as per IRC:35 1997 complete as per technical clause 803 of MORT&H specifications

Advance Direction sign board 1200x1800mm rectangular as per IRC 67- 2012 with high intensity Microprismatic grade retro reflective Sheeting as per ASTM D 4956 – 09 and as per IRC 67 – 2012. fixed over 4mm thick Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) sheeting having aluminium skin thickness of 0.4 to 0.5 mm on both sided and fixing the same with suitable size aluminium alloy rivets @ 200 mm c/c to back support frame of 25x25x3mm angle iron supported on two square hollow steel section post 60x60x3.2mm conforming to IS 4923 firmly fixed to ground in foundation concrete M-25 of size 0.60x0.60x0.75m for vertical post complete as per clause 801 of MORT&H specifications. Supplier shall provide a warranty as per clause 6.9 of IRC 67-2012 for retro reflective sheeting & a certified copy of test reports from an independent test laboratory conforming to clause 6.7 of IRC 67-2012 .

III. The mix shall exhibit the following details: a) Binder expressed as a percentage by weight of total mix. b) Coarse aggregate of 26.5 mm gauge expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. c) Crushed Bajri of 11.2 mm size expressed as percentage of weight by total mix. d) Fine aggregates 4.75 mm below expressed as percentage of weight by total mix. e) A single definite percentage passing each sieve for mixed aggregates. f) Density of Dense Graded Bitumenious macadam (75mm/50mm thick after compaction) shall be minimum 2.2 gms/C.C & nothing extra shall be payable if higher density is achieved at site. IV. The contractor thereafter, shall be required to complete the supply of various ingradients or Dense Graded Bituminous macadam as per proportions stipulated in the approved mix. V. Rate of B.M. shall be quoted by the contractor with respect to binder content percentage by weight of mix being 3.4% if Laboratory designs a mix with different percentage then the difference shall be payable/recoverable.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE WORK ( PART-II)

Routine Maintenance after completion of construction work as per perodicity to routine maintenance mentioned in the technical specifications.

Providing and laying bituminous concrete 30mm to 45mm thick with batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 5.4%, complete as per technical clause 507 of MORT&H specifications NOTES : - (i) Job mix formula for the Bituminous Concrete shall be provided by the agency and shall be got approved from Punjab PWD, B&R Research laboratory Patiala before adoption at site for execution. (ii) The specification of this item for analytic purpose is kept with bitumen content @ 5.4% weight of mix variation as compared with job mix formula shall be paid / deducted accordingly. The limits of variation shall be worked out with the approved formula. TECHNICAL NOTE : - i.) Apart from the confirmity with the grading and quantity requirement of invidual ingredients exhibited above the mix aggregate i.e. coarse and fine aggregate for bituminous concrete shall meet all requirements set forth clause 507 of MORT&H specifications.

Note :- For the routine maintenance of roads, there is Lump Sum provision for each year maintenance. The payments will be based on satisfactory performance of routine maintenace activities.

Supplier shall provide a warranty as per clause 6.9 of IRC 67-2012 for retro reflective sheeting & a certified copy of test reports from an independent test laboratory conforming to clause 6.7 of IRC 67-2012.

Providing and making rumble strips 15-20mm high at centre, 250mm wide placed at 1m centre to centre over freshly laid bituminous layer by using close graded premix surfacing material type B at approved locations to control speed and marked with 100mm wide white strips of thermoplastic road marking paint. The close graded premix surfacing material type B shall conform to technical clause 512 and thermoplastic road marking paint shall conform to technical clause 803 of MORT&H specifications

Supplying and fixing of single mould twin shank reflective road studs made out of poly carbonate/ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens or Glass Beeds capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values shall be as given in the detailed specifications and the product shall conform to ASTM D4280. The raised pavement marker shall also meet all the testing conditions of ASTM D4280 and fixed to the road surface using the adhesive. Two cylindrical Polymer Shanks of not less than 20 mm diameter and not less than 30 mm length shall be molded in the RPM body.The marker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The marker shall withstand flexural strength of 909 kgf force in accordance with ASTM D4280. Marker lenses shall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methyl methecrylate conforming to ASTM D788. The supplier shall provide a 2 years warranty for satisfactory field performance as per clause 804.7.3 of MORT&H 5th revision specifications
