Punjab is a state in the Northern part of India having a land area of 50,362 km2 which is 1.53% of India's total geographical area. The state capital of Punjab is Chandigarh and the largest city is Ludhiana. The growth rate of 6.89 % of the population increased from the year 2011 in Punjab.
