The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in similar work, with specific details such as years of experience and type of work. For example, a Site Engineer is required to have 3 years of experience in Rural Works. The bidder is expected to have performed work as a prime contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover in any one year, equivalent to: - 60% of the amount put to bid, if the amount put to bid is Rs.200 Lakhs and less, - 75% of the amount put to bid, if the amount put to bid is more than Rs.200 Lakhs. At least 50% of this turnover should be from Civil Engineering construction works. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor or Subcontractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work. Specifically, the bidder must have completed a similar work with a value of at least Rs. 110.52 Lakhs. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram SadakYojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be treated as 120% for the purpose of this Sub-Clause.
