Earthwork in all kinds of soil except sand, sandy or slushy soil in borrow area by mechanical means and transportation of excavated earth by mechanical means with all leads, lifts, delfts, rehandling, conveyance, royalty, cess, including loading and unloading the same on prepared and approved surface including rough dressing and breaking the clods to maximum 5 cm. to 7 cm. in size and laying in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm.layers to make ready for watering and compaction with sheep foot rollers and dozers but excluding watering and compaction in dams and dykes for all heights including construction, maintenance, watering and lighting of haul road and borrow area with labour, T & P etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Earth will be arranged by the bidder at his own cost and risk. Earth should be free from clods, roots, brickbats and other debris.. Measurement of the fill to be taken on the finished level section) only

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, brushes, shrubs, sapling and trees girth up to 300 mm (Light jungles) & removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking the serviceable materials to be used or auctioned up to a lead of 1000 Meters including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm in thickness etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work excavation in foundation in all types of soil including rough dressing and leveling the bed and depositing the excavated earth away from work site and dewatering removing bushes,stumps and any other foreign materials from working areas as well as from trenches with all leads, lifts , delifts, conveyance, royalty, and labour , T & P & cess etc. and breaking the clods to maximum 5cm. to 7cm. in size and laying in layers not exceeding 30cm. in depth and leveling the earth with all labour, T&P, cess etc.complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Filling bitumen and cement and jute fiber in expansion joints inclusive cost of materials , bitumen and cement proportion (3:1) including cleaning before pouring 12mm to 25mm and 15cm. Depth with hire & running charges of all machineries with all labour & T&P required for the work etc. complete in all respect as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
