Earth work in excavation in any approved type of soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means, loading the earth in to transporting vehicle and transportation of the same to the filling zone with average lead of 5.00 K.M. and unloading the soil, breaking the clods, laying, spreading & leveling to the required section in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm thick on the properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including base stripping of borrow area, clearing all roots, vegetations & other objectionable materials from the earth including construction, maintenance, watering and lighting of haul road and borrow area with mobilisation & demobilisation of men & materials, hire & running charges of all machineries/tools & plants, taxes (Excluding GST), royalty, cess etc; all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement to be taken and payment will be made on level section).

Watering earth work up to O.M.C. condition and compaction by sheep foot rollers & dozer in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm thick to the required density at all height including cost & conveyance of water, mobilisation & demobilisation of men & materials, hire & running charges of all machineries, taxes (Excluding GST), cess etc; all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement to be taken on level section on the finished compacted section of the fill under O.M.C. condition.)

Fine dressing of earth work in hard or gravelly soil with final stage of levelling and smoothening the excavated or filled earth surface,removing minor irregularities and ensuing a precise,even grade by trimming and shaping the soil including cutting or filling earth upto 150mm depth of surface including labour charges, cess, tools & plants, taxes (Excluding GST) and all lead, lifts & de-lifts, all costs incidental to the work etc; complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying approved quality of laterite moorum & coarse sand, conveying to the work site, admixing the both in 50 (moorum) : 50 (sand) proportion for cohesive non-swelling soil (CNS) filling and laying the admixture in layers not exceeding 225 mm in thickness by motor grader & tractor-rotavator, watering and compacting to the required density in O.M.C. with vibratory roller including cost, conveyance & royalty of all materials, labour charges, cess, tools & plants, hire & runing charges of all machineries, taxes (Excluding GST), rehandling of materials, if required, with all lead, lifts & de-lifts, all costs incidental to the work etc; complete as per specfication and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete M-15 grade using 20 mm and down graded size crusher broken hard granite coarse aggregates free from weathered skinned surface, mixing the concrete in concrete mixer, carrying & laying at any height/depth to proper line & grade, compacting with vibrators for proper compaction, curing, rehandling of materials, if requird, including cost, conveyance & royalty of all materials, labour charges, cess, tools & plants, hire & runing charges of concrete mixer & generator, taxes (Excluding GST), rehandling of materials, if required, with all lead, lift & de-lifts, all costs incidental to the work etc; complete as per specfication and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & laying PVC plastic perforated pipes Schedule -80 as per ASTM -D-1785/2004 150 mm dia having 12 mm dia staggered holes 100 Nos. per rmt of the pipe laid longitudinally and transversally inside the trench of size (500 x 1200 x 525) mm below concrete lining in canal bed & slopes and filled with filter media consisting of coarse sand and crushed granite coarse aggregates of size 40 mm & down graded as per IS: 4558: 1995 including cost, conveyance & royalty of all materials, labour charges, cess, tools & plants, taxes (Excluding GST), rehandling of materials, if required, with all lead, lift & de-lifts, all costs incidental to the work etc; complete as per specfication and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying & fixing in position Pressure Relief Valves (PRV) in longitudinal drains, cross drains and in pockets of canal slopes and bed at specified locations to release hydrostatic pressure confirming to class -2 of IS 4985: 1988 including cost & conveyance of all materials, labour charges, cess, tools & plants, taxes (Excluding GST), rehandling of materials, if required, with all lead, lifts & de-lifts, all costs incidental to the work etc; complete as per specfication and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Fine dressing of earth work and turfing the slopes of canal with compact dub grass turf with all lead, lift & de-lift including cost & conveyance of turf, labour charges, tools & plants, taxes (Excluding GST), watering till survival and full growth with cost & conveyance of water, cess etc; all complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement & payment will be made on survival of turf).
