Earth work in excavation in ordinary soil except sand and sandy soil from approved borrow area by mechanical means after stripping the surface to required depth, loading into & transportation by mechanical means, carriage of earth by mechanical means within a lead of 5 Km, unloading the earth on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface (Trimming the surface, removing the debires, benching the old embankment & levelling to proper profile), spreading the earth in layers not exceeding 22.50 Cm. in height, rough dressing & breaking the clods to maximum 5 to 7 Cm. in size and dressing the embankment to proper level and profile, including all taxes, royalty, cess etc. complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Measurement to be taken on finished complete embankment section and arranging borrow area is the contractors responsibility)

Collecting, Supplying & stacking of hard granite stone boulder 30cm, or more satisfying & conforming relevant BIS specification at work site for pre measurement & conveying from stacks and surface Packing in appron and revetment including filling the inersticks with small sotnes & wedges as epr requrement & packing the surface in proper line & level with all leads, lifts & delifts including cost, carriage, cess & royalty of boulders etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, fitting & fixing pressure relief valves (PRV) in flap type design with silt-protector, rubber flap, metal weight, PVC housing pipe 160mm OD having length of 430mm (Perforated Portion- 300mm). PVC strainer pipe of 90mm OD will be 300mm (Perforated portion-250mm). PVC housing pipe will have holes of 12mm and PVC strainer pipe will have holes of 10mm. One end cap at one end will be povided in longitudinal drains, cross drains and in pockets of canal bed at specified locations to release hydrostatic pressures as per approved drawings, specification and direction of Engineer-in- Charge with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost of labour, cess, carriage etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Quarrying, collecting, supplying 20mm downgraded hard granite chips from approved quarry of uniform colour and texture free from elongated and flaky pieces, disintigrated materials and other deleterious substances and spreading hard granite chips in horizontal filter drains of canal to propper thickness including surface dressing satisfying the filter criteria including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess taxes of all materials as applicable with all leads, lift & delifts and all other incidental charges with quality control test etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling bitumen, cement & jute fibre in expansion joints including cost of materials, bitumen & cement proportion (3:1) including cleaning before pouring 12 mm to 25 mm drpth etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Quarrying, collecting, supplying 40mm to 20mm downgraded hard granite chips from approved quarry of uniform colour and texture free from elongated and flaky pieces, disintigrated materials and other deleterious substances and spreading hard granite chips in horizontal filter zones and filter blankets to propper thickness including surface dressing satisfying the filter criteria including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess taxes of all materials as applicable with all leads, lift & delifts and all other incidental charges with quality control test etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying C.C.M-15 grade using 20mm and downgraded size hard granite crusher broken coarse aggregate for concrete lining Cast-in-situ to the slopes of canal in pannels including supply all materials, labour and machineries compacting with space vibrator or manually and finishing the concrete surfaces with concrete paver including trimming and dressing of slopes including cutting trenches for sleeper beams, keys and drainage etc. including watering and compaction of slopes and bed with hand rammers to propper profile and supplying and laying polythenefilm of 100 micron complete including all cost, conveyance, royalty, taxes and labour and hire charges of machinery involved for the completion of item of work as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Clearing shurb jungle uprooting stumps and small bushes and trees below 1mtr grith pre-measurement etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing 5 H.P. pump with diesel engine for dewatering including cost of all diesel & wages of pump operator etc. including T&P, carriage, cess, all other taxes as applicable etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Collecting, Supplying and spreading good quality sand of approved specification on compacted surfaces in canal for filter blanket and other horizontal filter zone to proper thickness including surface dressing satisfying the filter criteria with all lead, lift & delifts including cost, carriage, labour, royalty, cess & all other taxes as applicable etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Collecting, supplying of 160mm OD PVC S/S (ISI Type-A) pipe & labour for drilling hole of 12mm dia (minimum 60 perforation per meter length of pipe) and laying in proper position of longitudinal drain including cost of all materials, transportation and labour, cess T&P etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Quarrying, collecting, supplying and stacking of good quality of moorum and sand in regular heap size of 1.50m X 1.50m X 0.50m to be measured as one cum and admixing moorum and sand in (60:40) proportion and spreading in canal bed for CNS layers not exceeding 100mm thick with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess & all other taxes as applicable including hire charges of T&P materials required for the work, watering and consolidation with P.R.R. to the required density in OMC, hire and running charges of machineries of PRR etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & fixing of P.V.C. water stop for drainage gallery as per approved design including fixing in proper alignment and joining with araldite etc. including cost of all materials, labour, T&P, coveyance, cess and all other taxes as applicable etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work excavation of foundation in all kinds of soil including dressing and leveling the bed and depositing the soil within initial lead of 50 mtr and initial lift of 1.5 mtr and breaking the clods 5 cm to 7 cm size and laying in layer not exceeding .3 m depth complete as per specification approved by the department. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filiing canal bed, foundation and plinth with sand good quality including watering and ramming with labour, T&P etc complete the required level including cost, carriage, royalty & cess of all materials etc. complte as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Fine dressing and Turfing the slopes of the embankment with compacted dub grass with 1 extra lead 1 extra lift etc. complte as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
