Painting of 04 (Four) sets of Radial Gate and its all components after surface preparation by blast cleaning process performed with sand as per requirements & class 'A' of IS 14177: 1994. After blast cleaning, the surface should be cleaned from loose dust & debris preferably by air blast with help of blower. Over the prepared surfaces, two coats of zinc rich primer (containing not less than 85% zinc rich on dry film) should be applied to give a dry film thickness of 70 ± 5 microns. First coat of primer should be applied within six hours of sand blasting. Fnishing coat should consist of 02 coats of solventless coal tar epoxy paints. These should be applied at an interval of 24 hours. Each coat should give minimum dry film thickness of 150 ± 5 microns. Total dry film thickness of all coats including primer coat should not be less than 350± 5 microns as per 14177: 1994.. The rate should include cost of sand, hire charge of compressor, painting equiments, labour, other machinery, scaffolding etc. required for painting as per scope of work & direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Painting of 04 (Four) sets 130 T rope drum Hoists including hoist bridge, pulley support girder, latch after surface preparation by blast cleaning process performed with sand as per requirements & class 'B' of IS 14177: 1994. Over the prepared surfaces, two coats of zinc phosphate primer should be applied to give a dry film thickness of 40 ± 5 microns per each coat. First coat of primer should be applied within six hours of sand blasting. Finishing coat should consist of 01 coat of alkyed based micaceous iron oxide paint at dry film thickness of 65 ± 5 followed by 02 coats of synthetic enamel paint confirming to IS 2932 : 1974 to give dry film thickness of 25 ± 5 microns per coat of synthetic enamel paint. Total dry film thickness of all coats including primer coat should not be less than 175± 5 microns. The rate should include cost of sand, hire charge of compressor, painting equiments, labour, other machinery, scaffolding etc. required for painting as per scope of work & direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
