Clearing shrub jungles and uprooting stumps and small bushes and trees of below 1 meter girth on pre-measurement including removal of debris and depositing the same clear of work site with all leads, lifts and de-lifts etc., with supply of all labour and T&P required for the work etc., complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in embankment using approved earth excavated by mechanical means excluding all kinds of rocks from borrow areas including loading in to and transportation by mechanical means and unloading the earth within 1Km lead on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface with all leads, lifts & de-lifts, spreading and levelling the earth in layers not exceeding 22.5cm depth, removing the undesirable materials, breaking clods to a maximum 5 to 7 cm size including all costs to make ready for watering and compaction including construction, maintenance, watering, lighting of haul roads and borrow areas with all costs for approach road, diversion road, site illumination, mobilization, demobilization, T & P, royalty and other taxes etc. complete with all costs incidental to work as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge complete but excluding cost of watering and compaction etc. (measurement will be taken on the finished approved level section.1/6th volume will deducted for settlement of embankment only).

Excavation in all kinds of soil including moorum, stoney earth, gravel etc. excepting all kinds of rock & boulders exceeding 0.014 cum in volume in reservoir area by mechanical means, loading into and transportation by mechanical means and unloading the soil within initial lead and dumping the excavated materials away from work site including construction and maintenance and lighting of haul road including rough dressing and breaking clods maximum 5cm to 7 cm in size and including laying, spreading the useful soil not exceeding 0.030M depth upto required level in dam with proper slope and profile including supply of all labour, T&P as required for the work etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge (measurement will be taken on the finished compacted approved level section).
