The required prior work experience for the bidder can be in the form of: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender - Two similar completed works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender A simple weightage of 5% per year is given to the cost of previous completed works to bring them to the current price level. The experience of incomplete/ongoing works is not considered, but if the construction part is completed, it may be considered as ‘acceptable’. A Satisfactory Work Completion Certificate is required, containing information such as work order, BOQ, and TDS. In the case of a Joint Venture, the qualifying criteria parameter can be fulfilled collectively by JV partners or JV itself, with the lead partner having at least 50% participating share and other partners having at least 20% participating share.
