The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the total value of Civil engineering construction work performed in the last five years. The bidder needs to provide information on the total value of work done in each of the last five years. For private works experience, only 50% of the amount or magnitude of the work completion certificate issued by a Private entity shall be considered as the work done amount or magnitude. The bidder should have experience in executing works similar to the project, specifically in providing, laying, and jointing of water-supply, sewage, or drainage pipelines, with specific requirements such as: - The cost of a single work should not be less than Rs. 540.00 Lakhs, with a pipeline diameter of not less than 525 mm and a length of not less than 1458.00 RM. - Alternatively, the cost of two works should not be less than Rs. 756.00 Lakhs, with a pipeline diameter of not less than 525 mm and a length of not less than 2042.00 RM. - Another option is the cost of three works should not be less than Rs. 864.00 Lakhs, with a pipeline diameter of not less than 525 mm and a length of not less than 2333.00 RM. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 50% of the work completion certificate issued by a Private entity. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, except for the consideration of 50% of private works experience. The value of completed work should be updated at 10% per annum (compounded) by multiplying the values with applicable factors. The bidder should have a minimum turnover of 75% of the Annual Cost of the work for unregistered contractors. The Annual Cost of the work is calculated as the Estimated Cost of work divided by the Time limit in years. The bid capacity is calculated as (A x N x 2) - B, where A is the maximum of the updated values of works executed in one of the preceding 5 years, B is the value of existing commitment of works, and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the project.
