Providing and laying Neelgiri / Mexican grass turf with earth 50mm to 60mm thickness of existing ground prepared with proper level and ramming with tools wooden (Dhurmos) and than rolling the surface with light roller make the surface smoothen and light waterning with sprinkler and maintenance for 30 days or more till the grass establish properly, as per direction of officer-in-charge. The item contains following operations

Supplying on site fresh Garden soil (free from stone srubbish like dried grass roots, other such materials) for excavation area of depth of 20 cms.( consolidated thickness).

Supplying on site well decomposed Farm Yard Manure for excavation area of depth of 20 cms. (consolidatedthickness).

Providing on site well established (free from weeds /diesease etc.) ready to fix lawn turf inslabs / rolls of required variety as directed.

Excavation for planting lawn / shrub / flower bed / hedges / edges / canna bed in earth, soil of all types, soft murum, including removing the excavated material up to a distance of 50mtrs. for a depth of 20 cms.

Filling fresh garden soil /silt & manure in excavated area of depth 20cms.

Mixing garden soil / silt & manure thoroughly well, watering previous night. Planting reqired plant species, lawn grass as directed etc. complete for required depth 20 cms. for planting lawn/ shrub / flower bed / hedges / edges/ cannabed / ground cover. (1/10 of semiskilled labour)

Maintainance of Newly Developed lawn (Instant Lawn) Area. For First 30 days Only

Supplying on site garden soil wellsieved 80 % to pass through I.S. sieve of 10 mm size freefrom stones rubbish like dried grass roots and other such materials. The soil should be fresh from quarry. The color of the soil generally is red. The soil will be measured by measuring box. (Farma) Item includes Transporting, loading-unloading etc. (Lead charges per 25km. considered. Excluding Royalty

Supplying and spreading Vermicompost of Good quality well decomposed black colored, odourless pest and disease free, with appropriate nutrient and moisture content free from unwanted rubbish material and as per direction of officer-in-charge.

Mixing garden soil /silt & manure thoroughly well, watering previous night. Planting required plant species; lawn grass asdirected etc. complete.

Filling fresh garden soil / silt & manure in excavated area of depth 30 cms.

Complete maintenance of the entire garden features having as per yard stick in the garden area i.e. lawn trees, shrubs, herbs, edge, flower beds, foliages, creepers etc. including hoeing, weeding, pruning, replacement of plants, gap filling, watering, mowing of lawn, grass cutting by lawn mover and brush cutter, removal of garden waste, applying insecticide, pesticide & fertilizers(whenever required) top dressing of lawn with good earth and manure and maintenance of other garden related works as directed by office-in-charge (Cost of Good Earth, Manure, Fertilizer, Insecticide, Pesticide will be provided by the Department & lawn mover and brush cutter with fuel and other T & P material/articles shall be provided by the contractor.) and as per direction of officer in charge. Maintenance of complete newly laid lawn is for 3 months and will be done by the supply of following labours

Note-1: General Notes 1.For their own interest, contractors are advised to inspect the site with prior permission before quoting their rates. 3. All the samples of materials which are to be used shall be approved by the department in advance. 4. The contractor shall comply with the provision of the Payment of Wages act 5. Rates quoted shall be inclusive of all cost of materials, labour, carriage, taxes, GST, labourcess, water charges, elctricity charges, signorage charges, wastages etc.. 6. Rates quoted shall be excluding the amount of EPFO and ESIC contributions. EPFO and ESIC contributions are reimbursable on production of valid proof of payment made by the contractor as per CPWD norms.
