Demolishing Rubble masonry at all levels in cement mortar including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50 metres lead etc. complete. All complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.

Dismantling chainlink fencing with flexible wire rope, vertical & inclined angles of any size & length including stacking anywhere in RRCAT campus, cutting, dismantling of concrete, making rolls, transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling the existing structural steel work at all levels in M.S. channels, plates, angles, flats, R.S. joists, bolts etc. including scaffolding, cutting of structural steel members by gas cutting, removing the nuts, bolts, straitening of members & Stacking within 50m lead out side the laboratory / building etc. complete.

Lead charges, by mechanical transport to anywhere in RRCAT CAMPUS, including loading, unloading, stacking/levelling etc. all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge. Note: The rate are applicable for the net quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soils and @ 50% in respect of rock from the corresponding stack /truck measurements.

For soil

Earthwork excavation in foundations in all soils other than soft and hard rock by mechanical means (hydraulic Excavator)/manual means upto a depth specified below including shoring and dewatering, if necessary and refilling around foundations and in plinth with selected excavated earth, in layers not exceeding 250mm thick, consolidating etc., and disposing surplus earth within a distance of 50 metre lead. (Depth of excavation shall be measured from the existing average ground level.). All complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.

Cement concrete 1:3:6 using graded stone aggregate 40 mm max. size including consolidating, finishing, curing etc. complete excluding formwork, all complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.

Providing & laying in position Design Mix REINFORCED CEMENT CONRETE of M-25 grade at all heights using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size including machine mixing, weigh batching, mechanical vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing and cost of labour, machinery, and materials etc. complete as per specifications but excluding shuttering, formwork and steel reinforcement. All complete and as directed by Engineer in-charge.(Minimum Cement content shall not be less than 387kg/cum of concrete.)

In foundations, footings, plinth beams, base of columns, flooring.

In beams, slabs, lintels, bed blocks, chajjas, canopies, shelves, walls and window cills, Staircase etc.

Providing, centering and shuttering using timber planks/steel plates including strutting and propping etc. at all height and removal of the same for in situ reinforced concrete and in plain concrete work. All complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.

Foundations, footings, base of columns plinth beams, flooring, machine foundations, bed blocks, window cills, copings and mass concrete

Walls, partitions and the like including attached pilasters etc.

Providing and fixing reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete using TMT bars of preferred make having minimum yield strength of Fe 500 or higher grade as per IS at all levels including supplying, cutting, bending, fixing, tying in position with 1.6mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire etc. All complete including cost of binding wire as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note: 1.The steel reinforcement bars shall be brought by the contractor at terms & conditions specified.TMT bars manufactured in the brand name of preferred shall only be permitted subject to furnishing of challans, valid test report issued by the manufacturer, pertaining to elongation,yield strength, Bend rebend test etc. 2. Random testing of sample collected at site shall be arranged by the contractor at their own cost.One sample comprising of three specimens shall be collected for every 25MT of bars brought at site .The representive of department shall associate with the engineer of contractor at each satge right from sampling of testing .All charges ,transport taxes etc shall be borne by the contractor. 3. The contractor shall be solely respossible all the time for watch & ward of bars/binding wires etc at their own cost. 4. 1.60 mm dia . Soft drawn annealed BINDING WIRE required for the work will have to be procured by the contractore at their own cost and will not be measured for payment . 5. Other condtion as stipulated in general condition, special conditions, additional conditions and specification shall also be applicable and no claim whatsoever on account of enforcing these provisions shall be entertained .

Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using ISMBs, Joists, channels, angles, flats, Tees etc. at all levels including welding, painting with two coat of PU paint over a coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)

Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using RHS, SHS & circular hollow sections of Grade Yst 280 or higher as per relevent IS code at all levels including welding, painting with two coat of PU paint over a coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note:The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.

Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using Structural steel M.S. plain & chequered plates at all levels including welding, painting with a primary coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)

Note:for Item no.13,14 &15 1. Structural steel conforming to IS: 2062 2. The contractor shall supply copy of Documentary evidence of purchase of steel, test certificates from these firms and also testing from third party, if required to be arranged at no extra cost. 3. Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rate. 4. All holes will be made by drilling only. Gas cutting of holes will not be permitted. 5. Electrodes manufactured by preferred make only shall be used.

Providing and fixing laminated closed cell Polyethylene foam joint filler 20mm thick of preferred make for expansion joint or other places including cutting, positioning, supporting, scaffolding and filling with approved sealing compound etc., all complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.

Providing, laying, jointing, fixing and testing PVC rigid pipes of class 'B' of preferred make for sleeves, sewerage ensuring thermal stability for waste water, sewage, acids etc. including all PVC fittings, jointing with durable solvent, testing the pipes at a pressure of 6 Kg per Sq cm etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Forming embankment with selected approved soil abtained from borrow pits (including cost of excavation & transportation within RRCAT campus by mechanical transport), in layers not exceeding 200mm thick including breaking clods, watering, consolidation using earth rammer, dressing the sides & top to the required profile & grade complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, lowering, laying, RCC Socket & Spigot (S&S) spun pipes (Class NP2) of IS : 458 with necessary collars, laid to correct grade and levels at all depths including cutting to length, jointing with hemp yarn and C.M. 1:1, caulking the joints and finishing, curing, testing etc. complete.

Cement plastering to external surfaces of walls at all heights, 20mm thick, with cement mortar 1:4 over brick walls or concrete surfaces, including finishing rough (wooden float finish) hacking the concrete surfaces, double scaffolding wherever necessary, curing etc. complete.

Painting New exterior walls with two coats of Waterproof cement paint of approved shade including preparing the surfaces, filling with putty wherever required, scaffolding and cleaning etc. complete.

Providing and fixing in position readymade PRECAST CEMENT CONCRETE Kerb Stone 80 mm thick of approved design & pattern of size 300mm x 350 mm & having a minimum compressive strength of 350 Kg/Sqcm, including the cost of excavation, necessary 1:2:4 cement concrete for embedment of kerb stone, necessary formwork if required etc. as per specifications, close jointed & pointed with cement paste including finishing the surface smooth, curing, hoisting & erecting in position etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of Granular sub base by providing coarse graded material as per specified grading, spreading in uniform layers on the prepared surface, mixing at optimum moisture content and compacting with vibratory roller/mechanical earth rammer to achieve the desired density complete.

Providing and laying rubber moulded reflective type factory made chamfered edge Cement Concrete interlocking paver blocks of following thicknesses in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc, of Alankar/Parex or other approved make of M-35 grade strength, of approved size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand. complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- The cost of sand shall be paid separately under relavant item.
