FABRICATION AND ERECTION OF SHELL AND STRUCTURALPORTION :
Scope of the work includes marking ,cutting, fit-up fabrication, erection, installation of outer cover plate, fabrication & welding of nozzles, DP testing on weld joints, fabrication and erection of all structurals, welding of insulation lugs etc. of W4 economiser cum evaporator, in sulfuric acid plant, FACT-CD, Ambalamedu as per scope of work detailed in the Special Conditions of Contract, Technical conditions of the contract, General Conditions of Contract, tender drawings/specifications attached and Instructions of Engineer-In-Charge Collection of free issue materials (CS plates, structurals, , fasteners, pipes, consumables etc.) from FEW Stores Palluruthy / FACT–CD store & transportation to work site including unloading at site is also under the scope of contractor. However Loading and unloading of materials at Palluruthy will be done free of charge by FEW.

Surface preparation by wire brush cleaning and applying two coats of Red Oxide zinc primer (25 DFT each) on all external surfaces, wherever painting is damaged during erection work, of W4 economiser cum evaporator, as per scope of work detailed in the Special Conditions of Contract, Technical conditions of the contract, General Conditions of Contract, tender drawings/specifications attached and Instructions of Engineer-In-Charge
(All type of primers & thinners required for painting shall be supplied by FEW free of cost at FEW Stores Palluruthy or at FACT UC Stores and all Tools & Tackles, accessories, temporary scaffoldings etc. required for surface preparation and painting shall be under the scope of Contractor)
