Dismantling of damaged components of chimney tower made in MS angles with bolting arrangements and stacking of the dismantled items (within 50 metres lead) as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge. Supply, erection and commissioning of a new MS conical chimney of dia. 600mm X 315mm and made out of 12 mm, 8mmbrand 6mm thick MS sheet as per all the applicable standards and in compliance with the norms of PCB. MS flange with stiffeners of suitable thickness should be provided for connecting the chimney pipes and the connection should by using SS 304 nuts, bolts, washers, metallic gasket, U- clamps etc. thereon as required. The MS baseplate should have a minimum thickness of 25mm having ID 600mm and OD 900mm. The foundation bolt should be of MS having adequate length and diameter. All the welding to be done as per relevant standards and necessary tests to be conducted for ensuring the quality. The chimney shall be provided with ash cleaning door, inspection and sampling doors, canopy etc. All MS parts of the chimney shall be given surface treatment including degreasing, de-rusting etc., and a coat of primer shall be applied. The chimney should be finally painted with two coats of suitable heat resistant paint (600° C) at site. Note: - the rate quoted should include all the charges for repairing and reinstalling fittings on the existing chimney like, ladders, cages, GI strip for lightening ariel etc. to the newly erected chimney including painting with 02 coats of heat resistant aluminium paint. Repair and maintenance of water scrubber of the incinerator including repairing of scrubber nozzle, repairing of recirculation pipelines, patch works in damaged portions as per the site condition and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
