ERECTION OF PUMPSETS:- Erection of the three pumpsets on the existing main girder including formation of machine foundation using suitable size MS channels, cross girder, plate girder, nuts & bolts washers etc., complete. Lowering of bowl assembly, column pipe assembly, into jackwell and fixing of discharge head in position true to line vertically, maintaining the vertical hallow shaft, motor alignment, dynamic balancing and linking to delivery line using delivery pipes from jackwell, proper packing of the hole after laying pipe with CC 1:1.5:3 etc., complete. NOTE:- 1) The installation of the pumpset shall be inspected by the pump manufacturers and a certificate from the pump manufacturer shall be obtained for the pumpsets installed and furnished to the Board before commissioning without any extra cost to the Board. 2) The pumpsets should be erected in such a way that, the adequate space is left for accommodation of similar pumpsets in future. The tenderer should get the dimensional drawing showing the position of present pumps and future pumps approved from Chief engineer, before taking up errection work.

ERECTION OF TRANSFORMER:- Formation of suitable elevated platform in size stone masonry in CM 1:6 using all the required materials such as cement, sand, jelly etc., complete & with MS rail embeded on the top of the platform, hoisting the transformer for erection on the above platform and erection of the transformer / 33kv Breaker on the platform including the cost of all the materials required labour etc., complete including supply and spreading of 40mm down size jelly as per IE rules . EARTHING:- Providing earthing as per latest IS 3043, and as per I.E. rules including the following Earthing: Providing earthing as per latest IS 3043, and the work shall include the following: Supply and providing, earthing electrodes comprising of GI pipe 40mm dia 2.9 mm thick 2.5 mtrs long, the pipe shall have 16 through holes of 12mm dia staggered along the length of the pipe as per ISS suitable length 19mm dia GI pipe provided with mesh covered funnel GI bolts, nuts washers, check nuts, at one end and coupled to main electrodes through a 40mmx19mm GI conduct at the other endDigging 300mm dia earthing pits to suitable depth for buring the main electrodes in the pit. The pit shall be filled with alternate layers of salt and charcoal 150mm thick around the pipe to the entire depth. An inspection chamber of 300x300x300mm size shall be constructed with CC 1:3:6 prop., 150mm thick for sides and 100mm thick at bottom. The chamber shall be provided with CI/MS cover hinged to the frame.The electrical equipment shall be connected to the earth pit through 25mmx11 mm size pure electrolytic copper strip or 25x6mm size GI strip for equipment earthing.(approximate length 30 meters)

LAYING AND JOINTING OF MS PIPES AND SPECIALS:- Rolling, lowering, laying, true to line perfect linking at the joints and jointing of MS pipes, specials including fixing of valves, guages for delivery connections of the pumps upto including delivery manifold, using all the required materials such as bolts, nuts, washers rubber packing etc., complete. The work shall include providing pipe supports, anchoring wherever required etc including making of holes in jackwell/pumphouse and packing with 1:2:4 concrete. NOTE:- The Tenderer should furnish the layout drawing showing the position of valves, Tees, pipes, providing for future pumpsets etc., and obtain approval from the Chief Engineer, before taking up errection work.

Servicing and commissioning: The pumpsets (ALL ) along with all other elecrical equipments shall be serviced and commissioned in the presence of the Engineer-in-charge of work including trial running for a period of 90 days. The work shall include the following servicing and heat running of the pumpsets along with allied equipments.Calibration of switch gears relays and meters giving performance tests of all electrical equipments.Giving performance tests of the pumps such as discharge, effency and the power absorbtion etc.Providing operating and maintenance manuals of the pumps and allied equipments to the operating personnel.Giving trail run of the pumpsets for a period of 90 days from the date of successful commissioning.The contractor should employ personnel to operate & maintain the pumpset and accessories during the trial run period and should train the Board/Municiple Staff to operate the pumpsets.NOTE:- 1.
