code01 - Maintenance of Fire Fighting equipment, smoke detectors and fire hydrants systems in PUB Building for the period of one year and the agency has to be depute trained mechanical, electronical and civil personal that are having better knowledge of the system for checking the above three items of work evey day including mechanicial devices of the fire alarms system of entire equipment, The personnel arranged by the company should be available round the clock and running the system and also test running whenever necessay and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge of the work, The maintenance work includes reg:- 1.PUMPS: Grasing of the bearings, changing of packing ropes and adjustments of glands. 2.FOOT VALVES: Regular cleaning of deposits of the flap, changing of rusted nuts and bolts, Application of anti corrosive treatment, changing or ruptured rubber gaskets, leakage arresting etc,. 3.SLUICE VALVES: Regular cleaning of deposits / scale on the wedges, inside flaps etc,. Changing of rusted nuts and bolts greasing and leakage arresting 4.NON RETURN VALVES: Regular cleaning of deposits / scales on the wedges, inside flaps etc,. Changing of rubber gaskets and leakage arresting. 5.HYDRANT VALVES: Brass polishing regular replacement of the paking rope of the spindle rubber washer gaskets etc,. And arresting the leakages. 6.HOSE REEL: Hose reel nozzle and stop valve cleaning polishing leakage arresting of nozzle and valves application of chalk powder of the rubber hose reel and changing the faces and other works includes the cleaning to prime tanks and cleaning of sump tank once in 6 months and testing of the pressure switches control panel etc,. 7.FIRE ALARM SYSTEM: Cleaning and testing of each and every smoke detector and manual call points, Testing of the main control panel, hooters for testing of all functions of the fire and fault in all floors, Rectification of defects noticed during the inspection and replacement of manual call points brokem glasses. Repairs and replacement of smoke Detectors: Testing replacing and maintenance of smoke detectors including replace the damaged smoke detectors wherever necessary and put them working condition.
