a.) Design, Manufacture, assembling, factory testing, supply, installation, testing and Commissioning [at LIS Ranjan of new raw water (cold river water) complete replacement of bowl assembly] of new bowl assembly for already installed 20 cusecs discharge 61 m Head VT pump (700 T1A6 model of Jyoti make) at LIS Ranjan coupled with 3-phase 6.6kV, 50Hz, 986 rpm (ACW), slip ring, vertical solid shaft, 650HP HT induction motor. The Bowl assembly shall be suitable for following parameters of units installed/ site conditions:- PUMP: - VT pump of capacity (Q) 20 cusecs x 61 m head (H) with three stages having speed of 986 RPM. The pump is to be operated in open sump in parallel with other three pumps of same capacity with minimum submergence of 1.70 mtrs. Forced external clear water lubricated pump at the pressure of 5.0 kg/ sq.cm. the bowl assembly of output 348.84 kW. Column Pipe assembly:- Size 500mm x 200mm x 70mm dia with discharge outlet size of 500mm dia. PRIME MOVER/DRIVER:- Slip ring type Solid shaft , Three phase 650 H.P , 6.6 KV, 50 Hz AC electric induction motor of nominal speed 986 RPM. TYPE OF DUTY WATER: - cold water, silt laden, raw water (fresh raw water)Apart from above described parameters other desired specifications affecting the bowl assembly shall satisfy/coincide the requirement as per installed complete VT pumping unit of Jyoti make model 700 T1A6 and other site conditions. The job includes assembling of bowl assembly with already existing column pipe assembly (shaft enclosing tube and line shaft), forced water lubrication system, discharge head and coupling with electric Prime-mover & providing / fitting in position of nuts/ bolts of sorts as per actual specifications. Testing: - Obtaining of expected field performance curve/ in lab/ shop testing and lab/shop testing at reduced speed and stages shall be according to IS 5120 with revision, if any through CEIL/RITES or any other equivalent agency. Field test shall be carried under actual site conditions to check/ test at specified speed, discharge, delivery head, net pump effective head, and other connected parameter over a specified period with regular observations. The job includes cost of component, labour, carriage to & fro transportation , loading/ unloading, handling, Storage / stacking, connected tools/ tackles, testing, commissioning and required servicing over the warranty period. (Complete job as per parameters/technical specifications and conditions mentioned in SBD). b.) Providing, fabrication, assembling, erection, testing and commissioning of bifurcation for branching of discharge pipe/ rising main installed at LIS Ranjan. The job includes dismantling of existing bifurcation joint from its position. Providing, Fabrication and fitting in position of temporary bulk head made out of 12mm thick MS plate reinforced with suitable angle iron section on 900 mm dia. Up-stream flanged end of rising mains to prevent reverse flow of water during execution of work when other connected pumping units shall be in operation. Providing, fabrication, & assembling, of new bifurcation pieces out of M.S plate 10mm thick, having two inlet branches one of diameter 500mm & another of 900mm dia. connecting 900mm diameter flanged end of rising mains with deflection angle as per actual as that of existing one. Providing & welding in position of flanges at two inlet branch pipe ends 500mm dia. & 900 mm dia. and one outlet 900 mm dia. rising main branch pipe end as well of respective size, one no 500mm size flange (50 mm thick, inner diameter 500mm , outer diameter 640mm, PCD 570mm and no. of holes 20 of dia. 24mm) at one of the inlet end & 900 mm size flange( 50 mm thick ,inner diameter 900mm , outer diameter 1110mm , PCD 1000mm and no of holes 24 of dia. 32mm)one no each at rising main end and inlet end of bifurcation joint. The job includes alignment of respective discharge pipe lines of pumping unit no 1,2 & 3 with respect to Rising mains. surface development of plate/ pipe as per of actual required profile of existing branching/bifurcation/ divergent angle & reducer, followed by cutting to size and shape job includes, bending /rolling in segments. Shop Welding of segments of branching, reducer and straight portion after proper edge preparation for single v –butt joints. Welding is done with pre – heated welding electrodes / parent material in layers root run, intermediate run and capping. The L.S/ CS Weld joins are to be D.P Tested. Fitting of the bifurcation pieces in position by way of providing and fitting of high strength steel bolt of size M-32 X 150mm long and M-24 X 150mm long for respective flanges with nuts & washers for each hole of flanged joints with gasket to ensure water tight joints fitted at specific torque for nuts and bolts. The complete job includes cost of material, labour, installation, loading, unloading, transportation, mobile crane, Tripod stand etc. complete job. Testing and commissioning of above installed bifurcation for branching of discharge pipe/ rising main at LIS Ranjan. NOTE:- ( Rebate on old unserviceable parts @ 2% on part b).
