App. Item Providing and laying, spreading and compacting granular sub base material 200mm thick compacted layer natural sand, morrum, gravel, crushed stone or combination thereof as per MORT&H specification confirming to clause 401 coarse graded grading-II as per table 400.2 of MORT&H specification including spreading on the prepared sub grade with the help of motor grader or adequate capacity maintaining the required slope and grade during operation, rolling with road roller 8-10 tone with the grade and cross fall (camber) to be checked and any high spot or depressions which becomes apparent, corrected by removing or adding fresh material, including cost of tools and plants carriage of material from stacks templates, barrier, lighting arrangement at night, chowkidaar and maintenance of diversion etc. complete in all respect as per MORT&H specifications drawings and the instruction of the Engineer-in-Charge, density of GSB as laid 2gms/cc.

24.1 Preparation of sub grade, including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed.

App. Item Providing and laying of tack coat with 25kg. Bitumen per 100 sqm. (Including cost of bitumen Emulsion). Will be arranged by the contractor.

App. Item Providing and laying of primer coat with 60kg. Bitumen per 100 sqm. (Including cost of bitumen Emulsion). Will be arranged by the contractor.

16.25 + 16.26 Applying priming coat with cement primer in all shades on newly plastered or concrete exterior surfaces. + Painting two coats with ready-mixed exterior paint in all shades on newly plastered or concrete surface of walls.

10.78 Pre-cast cement concrete 1:2:4 with stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size in tiles and channels and the like items, finished, smooth with 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 on exposed surface including form work, placing and fixing in position, complete at the ground level or in first storey.

App. Item Providing and laying 50mm thick compacted dense bituminous concrete Macadam on main carriage way and service road by hot mix plant and paver finisher as per clause No. 505 and table No. 500.10 G-II of MORT&H specification for road and bridges works (5th revision) of 2013/latest edition using bitumen 60/70 grade as binder not less than 4.5% by weight of total mix complete in all respect including cost of bitumen. Instructions issued from time to time by MORT&H regarding machinery and bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self-propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MORT&H specification if mandatory density bituminous macadam shall not less than 2.30 gms/cc after compaction.

App. Item Providing, laying, spreading and compacting hand broken /crushed stone aggregate to wet mix macadam confirming to physical requirement laid in 400.11 of MORT&H specifications in two layer (compacted) to 225mm (125+100) (by taking material 1.32 times of the thickness of the layer) including premixing of material with water in mechanical mix (Pug Mill) carriage of mixed material by tippers to site and laying material in uniform thickness and spreading by motor grader of adequate capacity rolling with road roller 8-10 tone in stages to proper grade and any spot or depression which comes apparent corrected by removing or adding fresh material and camber spreading and brooming including template, barrier, lighting arrangement at night chowkidaar, maintenance of diversion etc. complete all respect as per clause 406 of MORT&H specifications drawing and the instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge density of WMM as laid 2.2 gms/cc.

App. Item Providing and laying 30mm thick compacted bituminous concrete by hot mix plant and paver finisher as per clause No. 507 and table No. 500.17 G-II of MORT&H specification (5th revision at 2013) for using bitumen 60/70 grade as binder not less than 5% by weight of total mix complete in all respect including cost of bitumen. Instructions issued from time to time by MORT&H regarding machinery and bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self-propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MORT&H specification. Lab. Density, (job mix formula) of bituminous concrete shall not less than 2.35 gms/cc. The density of compacted layer shall not be less than 98% of the laboratory density.
