App. Item Earth work (tibba sand) in embankment including excavation in all kinds of soil, rock carriage including loading, unloading and laying of earth as per specification for complete after breaking of clods including cost of rolling, watering. The complete rate to be quoted by the contractor shall be taken into all allowance for labour and wetness and total lead and lift compensation of earth taken from private land owner transportation to the site of work to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge conforming to PWD specification.

24.1 Preparation of sub grade, including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed.

App. Item Providing and laying, spreading and compacting granular sub base material 200mm thick compacted layer natural sand, morrum, gravel, crushed stone or combination thereof as per MORT&H specification confirming to clause 401 coarse graded grading-II as per table 400.2 of MORT&H specification including spreading on the prepared sub grade with the help of motor grader or adequate capacity maintaining the required slope and grade during operation, rolling with road roller 8-10 tone with the grade and cross fall (camber) to be checked and any high spot or depressions which becomes apparent, corrected by removing or adding fresh material, including cost of tools and plants carriage of material from stacks templates, barrier, lighting arrangement at night, chowkidaar and maintenance of diversion etc. complete in all respect as per MORT&H specifications drawings and the instruction of the Engineer-in-Charge, density of GSB as laid 2gms/cc.
