The successive layer of earth should not be provided until and unless layer under construction is thoroughly compacted. The complete rate quoted by the contractor shall take into account all allowances for labour, hardness, wetness and all kinds of carriage, loading & unloading, total lead and lift of soil involved to the entire satisfaction of Engineer - in -charge conforming fully to specification No. 305 of MORT&H including subsequent and corrigenda issued from time to time. The compaction of work shall be achieved 97% of MDD. The top level of Sub grade should be minimum 1.00 mtr. above the adjoining field / ground levels. The rate should include excavation of road way and using the excavated soil in embankment to ensure that every where 500mm sub grade is prepared afresh with new borrow area soil having minimum CBR value 8% Adjoining field ground levels shall be mean of levels taken in every 250m length at a longitudinal distance of 25 m both sides and 50 m distance from center line of the road longitudinal profile based on above parameters shall be approved and finalized by Engineer-in-charge before GSB is started on earth work. Ensuring that average top of sub grade for whole length shall be 1.20m above adjoining ground level as defined above. Bidders are accordingly advised to inspect the site. (i) If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC – SP-89-2010 as approved by Engineer and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 Cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/ Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulou8sly followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads. The method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note- Before start of work the contractor shall give material batch nos, manufacturing date of the material to be used.

(2) The cost of works to make taping all points to be leak proof, tested etc. including all couplers, materials, manpower and tool and tackle etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (B) Mode of Measurement: (1) The measurement shall be made in number for the drainage port supplied and installed at site. The payment for the pipes will be made in running meters. Minimum 2 no. of tests shall be carried out for each of Initial- Vertical load test, Initial- Lateral Load test, Routine-Vertical and Routine lateral Load test.Initial Pile load test shall be carried upto failure, as per requirements of deflection as per IRC 78:2014 (with latest amendments) Routine Load test shall be carried upto 1.5 times the pile capacity.
