Dismantling of road including soiling and wearing coat, screening , GSB, brick soiling etc. complete uptotop of existing subgrade level and stacking of old serviceable material , complete in all respect. NOTE- Dismantling upto (Avg. depth 300 mm)

Construction of embankment and Sub Grade in RD 20.800 to 21.500 in Rigid portion with soil minimum CBR (4 days soaked) of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 301of MoRD specification Clause No. 301. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 1747.201 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 1747.201 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out to be more than 1747.201 cum, then only 1747.201 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 300 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 300mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS.However, typical X-section attached at section 9 of DNIT. Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC – SP—89-2010 as approved by SE-In-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.

Preparation of sub-grade including trenching rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to given levels and chamber , watering, rolling with road roller and compacting the bed in all respect before laying paving material [confirming to clause 301 of MoRD specification for Rural Roads-2004] Note: - In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller (HSR 24.1) or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

Earth work excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth-earth-work undressed with all lead & lift including breaking of clods. (HSR 6.2b) and relaying the same for making of berms and side slopes including laying, dressing, watering & rolling as per HSR 6.2 g-i, g iii & g-v -

Preparation on berms including filling of earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering, all allowances for labour, hardness, wetness, irrespective of all lead and lift, including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H satisfaction clause No. 305 and to entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section. this item also includes E/W if required in sub Garde for Widening and Shoulder. Earth used for Sub grade, shoulder and Berms should have minimum CBR of 8%. Note: No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R /ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Providing laying, watering and compacting of 200 mm GRANULAR SUB BASE COARSE graded by providing well graded material spreading in uniform layers with mortar grader on prepared surface mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per technical specification of MoRD clause 401 for Rural Roads 2004). Note:- Only crushed material should be used, no local earth/sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero plasticity index (P-I) 2. Material and operation manufacturing shall be approved by Engineer.

Providing & laying 75 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-I) 63 to 45mm gauge wearing coat to Water Bound Macadam in layer of 75mm eachusing screening type 'B' compacting with three wheeled power rollers of 80-100 kN capacity or tandem or vibratory of80-100 kN static weigth to achieve the desired density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per technical MoRD clause no 405 Rural Roads-2004) as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respect. (N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & laying 75/225 mm thick (Compacted) in three layers stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with three wheeled power rollers of 80-100 kN capacity or tandem or vibratory of 80-100 kN static weigth to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause no 405 of MoRD specification for Rural Roads-2004) as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer mix including bitumen emulsion @ 1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical specification clause 502 of MoRD specification Rural roads-2004. Instructions issued from time to time by MoRD regarding bitumen emulsion will be followed strictly. Note:- Bituminous Macadam to be laid with in 24 Hrs. of laying primer coat & Tack coat does not required to be provided above the primer coat.However, if the BM is not laid with in 24 hours of laying prime coat, then tack coat would have to be provided by the contractor but no payment of the same shall be made and it would be incidental to work.

Providing and applying Tack coat of VG 10 ( 80/100 grade) bitumen using bitumen @ 0.25 kg per sqmall inclusive including clearing and blowing dust off the surface using a compressor and brooms (conforming to clause 503 of MoRD specification-2004) for PC. Instructions issued from time to time by MoRD regarding bitumen VG-10 will be followed strictly.

Providing & Laying 50 mm thick compacted Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam (DBM) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 505 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th edition) 2013 using minimum 4.50% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respect including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 is mandatory. If bitumen required more than 4.50% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note :- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Instruction issued from time to time regarding bitumen from MORD will be followed strictly.

Pdg& laying 50mm BM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% of the required quantity, after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, grade level and thickness, all as specified in clause 519 (5th Revision) of 2013 using bitumen VG-30. (minimum Bitumen's 3.40% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula) using 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P., appropriate rollers as specified in the clause and with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade. the milled material to be used in BM shall be minimum 80% of theoretical quantity of milled material. Note: -1. If bitumen required more than 3.40% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 1702 of MoRD specification . Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads .the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no. , manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Providing and fixing steel plate/ steel tube citizen informatory sign boards as prescribed by NRRDA (with two information plates of 750mm x 980mm size each) & other specifications conforming to the MoRD specification 2004; all inclusive, including excavation, concrete etc. Will supply warranty for sheeting Clause 801.3.11 Drawing attached in the DNIT

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with logo as per MoRD specification and drawing.Three MS plates of 1.6mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with S flat iron 25mmX5mm size on back on edges,25mmX25mmX5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frme of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos,.75mmX75mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mmX450mmX600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mmX47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube . All MS will be stove enamelded on both sides. Providing and fixing sign boards on the gantry as provided in the item No. 34 above, of size 3.05m x 1.525m made out of retro-reflective sheeting of high intensity micro prismatic grade confirming to IRC:67 – 2012 Type IV standard fixed on 4mm thick Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP sheet) as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive numerals etc.) and borders of Retro Reflective Boards with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminum on both sides. The message (legends, letters, numerals etc.) and borders of Retro Reflective Boards shall be of cut letters made in transparent overlay film pasted over the base sheeting with pressure sensitive adhesive or as instructed by the manufacturers or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- 1.) Work will be carried out as per MoRTH specification for road and bridges works (5th revision). 2.) Retro-reflective sheeting of high intensity micro-prismatic grade confirming to IRC 67-2017 Type-IV Standard shall be of Avery Dennision/3M make only. 3.) Warranty and Durability as per clause 801.3.11 of MoRTH Specification 5th Revision will be applicable which is reproduced as under:- The contractor shall obtain from the manufacturer a ten year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the retro-reflective sheeting of micro-prismatic sheeting and a seven-year warranty for high intensity grade and submit the same to the Engineer. The warrenty shall be inclusive of the screen printed or cut out letters/legends and their bonding to the retro-reflective sheeting. The contractor/supplier shall also furnish the LOT numbers and certification that the signs and materials supplied against the assigned work meets all the stipulated requirements and carry the stipulated warranty and that the contractor / supplier is the authorized convertor of the particular sheeting. All signs shall be dated during fabrication with indelible markings to indicate the start of warranty. The warranty shall also cover the replacement obligation by the sheeting manufacturer as well as contractor for replacement/repair/restoration of the retro-reflective efficiency. A certificate in original shall be given by the sheeting manufacturer that its offered retro-reflective sheeting has been tested for various parameters such as co-efficient of retro-reflection, day/night time colour and luminance, shrinkage, flexibility, linear removal, adhesion, impact resistance, specular gloss and fungus resistance; the tests shall be carried out by a Government Laboratory in accordance with various ASTM procedures and the results must show that the sheeting has passes the requirements for all the above mentioned parameters. A copy of the test reports shall be attached with the certificate.

(HSR 18.22) NOTE-Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work, exckuding overlaps. from the length so measured, the weigth of reinforcement shall be calculated in tones on the basis of IS:1732. Wastage, overlaps, couplings,weleded joints,spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing, shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP-3 1000mm for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonary works in head work in head walls and parapets clause 1106. Note- Contractors shall supply bills from manufacture of pipes along with valid ISI certificate for manufacturing pipes. Each pipes should bear name of manufacture and ISI certificate, no payment shall be released. HSR 29.96

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned:- Granular Materials @ 633/- P.Cum Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.

Note: - In case of any difference in the nomenclature/unit of any items of the HSR/MORD depicted in the DNIT and that given in HSR/MORD. The nomenclature/unit given in MORD (Latest)/HSR shall be applicable.
