Providing and laying_____mm granular sub base consisting of filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - III of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note:- 1) Only crushed metal material should be used No. local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2) Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Dismantling of existing CC block pavement including transporting and stacking usable block along road side and dispose unusable blocks outside PWD land or desired by Engineer (NS)

Cement concrete 1:1 ½:3 with stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size in first storey upto 4 Mtr.s above plinth level.(HSR 10.60)

Providing and fixing sign boards on the gantry as provided in item No. 34 above, of Size- 3.05 m x 1.525 m made out of retro-reflective sheeting of high intensity micro prismatic grade conforming to IRC: 67 - 2012 Type IV standards fixed on 4mm thick Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP sheet ) as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminum on both sides. The messages (legends, letters, numerals etc.) and borders of Retro Reflective Boards shall be made of green/blue transprent overlay film (over 100% area) pasted over the white retro reflective sheeting as base with pressure sensitive adhesive or as instructed by the manufacturers or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. Note: - 1.) Work will be carried out as per MoRTH specification for road and bridges works (5th Revision). 2.) Retro-reflective sheeting of high intensity mirco-prismatic grade confirming to IRC 67-2017 Type-IV Standards shall be of Avery Dennision/3M make only. 3.) Warranty and Durability as per clause 801.3.11 of MoRTH Specification 5th Revision will be applicable which is reproduced as under :- The Contractor shall obtain from the manufacturer a ten year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the retro-reflective sheeting of micro-prismatic sheeting and a seven-year warranty for high intensity grade and submit the same to the Engineer. The warranty shall be inclusive of the screen printed or cut out letters/legends and their bonding to the retro-reflective sheeting. The Contractor /supplier shall also furnish the LOT numbers and certification that the signs and materials supplied against the assigned work meets all the stipulated requirements and carry the stipulated warranty and that the contractor /supplier is the authorized convertor of the particular sheeting. All signs shall be dated during fabrication with indelible markings to indicate the start of warranty. The warranty shall also cover the replacement obligation by the sheeting manufacturer as well as contractor for replacement/repair/restoration of the retro-reflective efficiency. A certificate in original shall be given by the sheeting manufacturer that its offered retro-reflective sheeting has been tested for various parameters such as co-efficient of retro-reflection, day/night time colour and luminance, shrinkage, flexibility, linear removal, adhesion, impact resistance , specular gloss and fungus resistance; the tests shall be carried out by a Government Laboratory in accordance with various ASTM procedures and the results must show that the sheeting has passed the requirements for all the above mentioned parameters. A copy of the test reports shall be attached with the certificate. This certificate shall be procured by the selected bidder before issue of letter to proceed i.e. within 21 days from the issuance of acceptance letter. The certificate should clearly mention the name of the work.

Providing & laying 75/300 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: - No local earth /natural occurring sand shall be allowed to be used as binding/ screening. Note:- 1) Only crushed metal material should be used No. local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. Providing & laying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S grade-I) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface ans spraying primer at the rate of 0.60kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for raod & bridge (5th edition) 2013 as per drawing and design durected by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No. 502 (N.S)

Providing & laying 75 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-I) 63 to 45mm gauge wearing coat to Water Bound Macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type 'B' compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications of road & bridges (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respect. (N.S.) Note: - No local earth / natural occurring sand shall be allowed to be used as binding / screening. Providing and laying 50mm thick compacted thickness of Bituminous Macadam (BM) in one layer by drum type hot mix plant and paver finisher with sensor to the required grade as per no. 504 table no 500-4 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge work .(5th Revision) of 2013 using minimum 3.4% bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix. Complete in all respect i/c cost of bitumen, instruction issued by time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming of MoRT&H specification in mandatory If bitumen required on this account is more than 3.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. (NS) Note:- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS -6241. If coating and stripping agent should conform to the requirement anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. the type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Note:- Where there is BM on existing black top, cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5ht revision clause No. 3004.3. which may consists of (i) Fog seal/or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work.

Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 Mtr.s depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 Mtr.s. (HSR 6.6)

Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift and including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305 and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -9. Note:- No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Cement concrete 1; 2 ; 4 with stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size in foundation and plinth. (HSR 10.41)

Milling of distress bituminous layer upto 20mm depth in single pass with suitable milling machine (capable of milling @200-300 sqm area per Hr.) fitted with loading conveyor for loading the milled material directly on the trucks hauling and stock piling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant or reclaiming to bring to required specification to reuse with the approval of Engineer-in-Charge for safe disposal with all leads and lifts complete in all respects. Note:- The quantity of reclaimed material shall be considered minimum 80% of theoretical volume. The reclaimed material shall be used 30% of total quantity of BM item No. 10 as per clause No. 519 of MoRT&H specifications.

Cement concrete 1 : 4 : 8 with stone aggregate 40 mm Nominal size in foundation and plinth.( HSR 10.39 )

First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:5 in foundation and plinth.(HSR 11.3)

Relaying old CC block over 25 mm thick fine sand including transportation from road side where stacked excluding cost of CC Block and complete in all respect as per specificatin. (NS)

Cement concrete 1:1½:3 with stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size for reinforced concrete work in slabs with inclination not exceeding 25 degree with horizontal, excluding steel reinforcement but including centering and shuttering laid in position complete in all respect extra over item Nos. 10.79 to 10.94, if 1:1 ½:3 mix is used , instead of 1 : 2 : 4 . (HSR 10.82 + 10.95 (a)

Cement concrete 1 : 6 : 12 with stone aggregate 40 mm Nominal size in foundation and plinth.(HSR 10.32)

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of bricks work and bituminous layer have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency. However the reserve price is as under :- i) Good Bricks @ 4.50 /- Each.

Providing and laying 50mm BM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% of the required quantity, hauling and stockpiling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P., transporting and laying at site with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade and compacting to the required grade level and thickness with appropriate rollers all as specified in clause 519 (5th Revision) of 2013 using bitumen VG-30. (minimum Bitumen's 3.40% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula). (NS) The milled material to be used in BM shall be minimum 80% of the theoretical quantity. Note:- If bitumen required more than 3.40% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note:- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS -6241. If coating and stripping agent should conform to the requirement anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. the type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. Providing and fixing RCC village boards 1.85x0.90x0.75xmtr. With CC 1:1½:3 including cost of steel and 6mm thick CM plaster 1:4, loadingand un-loading carriage at site of work, fixing of site in CC 1:4:8 and painting sign board with synthetic enamel paint two coat complete in all respect as per drawing and design.

First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 in foundation and plinth.(HSR 11.4)

Fe-500 EQR/TMT steel bars for R.C.C. works, where not included in the complete rate of R.C.C. including bending, binding and placing in position complete in all respect. Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work, excluding overlaps. From the length so measured, the weight of reinforcement shall be calculated in tones on the basis of IS : 1732. Wastage, overlaps, coupling, welded joints space bars, chairs, stay, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing, shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement)(NS).

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Manufacturing, supplying and laying of precast cement concrete rectangular block ( 0.45 M x 0.30 M X 0.15 M ) M-30 grade using minimum cement concrete 320 Kg/ per cum with degital batching plant duly conpacted with table vibration including setting in positing over bed prepared wit 25mm thick fine sand and filling up the joint with fine sand (NS).

Brick-on-edge flooring laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 on 75 mm thick cement concrete 1:8:16 and 100 mm sand filling and cement pointed 1:2 on top(HSR 14.23)

Providing, lowering, cutting, jointing and testing 600mm dia RCC pipe Class NP-3 as per IS 458-2003 with Spigot and socketed joints manufactured with ISI marked Sulphate Resistance Cement as per ISI 12330 with rubber rings ISI marked , antitermite as required at site , into trenches, for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignments, gradients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches , if required , Jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in (HSR item No 29.38,29.44,29.45 & 29.46) including cartage , loading and unloading complete in all respects. Note:- Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.

Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from drum type Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS). Note:- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS -6241. If coating and stripping agent should conform to the requirement anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. ii) Bricks Bats @400/- Per cum

Preparation of sub grade including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed (HSR 24.1) Note: - In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller (HSR 24.1) or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

Providing & erecting OVERHEAD SIGNS gantry supported by M. S. Pipe Structure (MS Pipe should be of TATA/Sail/Jindal/RINL make only) complete as per drawings, Technical Specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge including painting with red oxide primer and first quality synthetic enamel paint, construction of R. C. C. foundation for providing of M. S Tubular structure for Cantilever signage at given site as per drawing enclosed. The C. C. mix to be in ratio of 1:1½:3 (RCC 1:1½:3) and that of lean to be ratio of 1:3:6 the work will be carried out as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge. Note: - Foundation including reinforcement etc. as per Drawing. Cantilever Over head Sign gantry. (r-Type) frame/truss Size- Size- 3.05 m x 1.525 m Note:- This item is excluding sign boards which will be payable extra as per item No.23.
