The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The value and percentage of similar works completed include: - At least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract - At least 90% completion of substantially completed works - Annual Financial Turnover Amount is Rs. 5,21,19,800.00 - Value of Work is Rs. 5,21,19,720.51 - Cost of electric work as Rs. 21,28,297.75 - Liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities, which is Rs. 1,30,29,930.00 Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of at least the annual value of the contract applied for, in any one year over the last five years. The experience of joint ventures will be weighted in proportion to their financial participation. The lead partner in a joint venture must meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria.
