Providing and laying of Hot Mix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete(SDAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and Cement filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete (for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 content shall be taken as 120 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% Cement by weight of aggregates as filler material.)

Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense Bituminous Macadam(DBM) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and Cement filler of quality as specifled and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete (for tendering purpose bitumen of grade VG -30 shall be taken as 110 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2 % Cement by weight of aggregates as filler material.)

Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of ail dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete. Permanent marking (Two or more coats)

Providing, laying and fixing of self adhesive composite biaxial glass fibre geogrid of 100 KN/M tensile strength as Asphalt reinforcement of High modulus fibre glass of mesh size not exceeding 12.5mm * 12.5mm. The grid shall be pressed down fully with a rubber tired roller and glued to pavement surface. The Longitudinal overlap should not be less than 250 mm and transverse overlap i.e. at the end of the roll should not be less than 150 mm. Over self adhesive glass fibre reinforcement, stress absorbing membrance inter layer (SAMI) shall be provided which shall comprise of a membrance of hot sprayed bitumen VG30 grade (supplied in BULK) @ 1.4kg/sqm and then treated with approximately 7.5 kg/sqm stone aggregate of 6 to 10 mm size. The stones will be spread in such a manner that 50% of the surface is covered. The item should be completed in all respect to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion (Rapid setting) complying with IS:8887, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit at the rate specified below, cleaning and preparing the existing pavement surface as per specifications complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. If the actual quantity of bitumen varies from the quantity specified, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. The rate of bitumen exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment. a) 0.30kg/ Sqm on existing concrete surface.

Electrical Works

Supply and fixing of C.I. collar, round type of outside dia 330 mm & 100 mm height made of 10 mm thick cast iron moulding all round, except the top and bottom surface, which is 15 mm thick, cast iron moulding suitable to receive a light fitting base plate on the top and shall be fixed on existing CI housing box and having clear opening of 220 mm dia at the top and bottom surface including 6 Nos. M 10 tapped hole at the hole centre 260 mm on both top and bottom including providing 6 nos. SS M10 bolts and a base plate gasket for each collar as required as per the drawing & specifications.

Supply of 2 X 105 Watt Unidirectional Inset type, high intensity halogen type Threshold light fitting with Green lens suitable for Runway Threshold light complete with prefocus lamp holder 2 X 105 W, 6.6A halogen lamps, lens/spreader glass, lens holding mechanism, reflector assembly complete as per site requirement.

Supply of 2 X 105 Watt Unidirectional Inset type, high intensity halogen type End light fitting with Red lens suitable for Runway End light complete with prefocus lamp holder 2 X 105 W, 6.6A halogen lamps, lens/spreader glass, lens holding mechanism, reflector assembly complete as per site requirement.

Supply of 1 x 16 Sq. mm 5 KV grade single core, stranded copper conductor PVC insulated and PVC sheathed underground airfield lighting cable generally confirming to IS 1554 Part II - 1981 with up to date amendments as required.

Supply of of 5 KV grade, 16 sq. mm size plug and receptacle of type I class "B" connector suitable for field attachment with 5 KV grade of PVC insulated PVC sheathed single core copper conductor Airfield Lighting cable conforming to the relevant IS specification etc. complete as required.

Supply of 50mm dia O.D. HDPE pipe with PN6 & PE80 as per IS 4984 : 2016 specifications complete as required.

Supply of 200W, 20A/6.6A, 5 KV grade 50Hz series type Isolating Transformers, encapsulated in polyester resin finally moulded in neoprene type rubber with primary & secondary connections and ready to install etc. complete as required.

Cutting and making groove of width suitable for laying of one no. 50mm dia HDPE pipe and 100 mm depth (or as required) with saw cut machine etc. complete as required.

Making two nos. holes (either in round or square form) in existing CI housing box(installed in operational area) of suitable size to receive 50mm HDPE pipe by cutting/grinding with the help of grinder or electric cutter machine . Both holes shall be at 180 degree apart.(two nos. hole in one box = one set)

Laying of 50mm. dia.(O.D.) HDPE(High Density Polyethylene) pipe along with all accessories like socket, bend, couplers etc. complete with fitting and cutting, jointing etc. on existing trench between the transformer housing boxes complete as per site requirements etc. complete as required.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4(1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 10 mm nominal size) on existing grooves or as per requirement on taxi/runway shoulders and finishing the top surcace matching to existing surfaces etc. complete as required.

Laying of one number 5 KV grade single core, PVC insulated and PVC sheathed stranded copper conductor underground airfield lighting cable in the existing RCC/ HUME/ METAL/HDPE pipe complete as required.

Making field connections by crimping 16 Sq.mm plug and receptacle with the existing 6 / 16 Sq.mm single core PVC insulated copper conductor cable including filling the gap with water sealant material, applying good quality HT tape & followed by PVC insulation tape of approved/reputed make etc complete as required.

Supply of blanking plate of 330 mm dia., 06 mm thick fabricated from cast Iron having 6 nos. holes suitable for bolting M-10 stainless steel bolts suitable for covering of transformer housing boxes.

Dismantling of Bi-directional/unidirectional, ELEVATED type of RUNWAY EDGE LIGHT/ TURNING PAD LIGHT/ WING BAR LIGHT and its supporting pipe fitting etc. i/c base plate, isolating transformers from transformer housing box after opening the base plate and M10 size SS/MS hardware, Fixing of blanking plate on CI housing box with nut and bolt after dismantling etc., and stacking in AAI store.

Dismantling of INSET type of RUNWAY EDGE LIGHT/ THRESHOLD LIGHT/ APPROACH LIGHT fitting etc., from the Runway surface including disconnection and removing its secondary lead of length up to 60 meters from the runway surface after properly removing the compound, making good the damages and stacking in AAI store.

Installation of Bi-directional/unidirectional, ELEVATED type of RUNWAY EDGE LIGHT/ TURNING PAD LIGHT/ WING BAR LIGHT etc., complete fittings on the existing CI housing boxes after removing of blanking plate, installation of isolation transformer, interconnection, testing, commissioning including thoroughly cleaning the fixtures and its accessories, before installation etc. as required.

Installation of Bi-directional/unidirectional, INSET type of RUNWAY EDGE/THRESHOLD light fittings , installation of isolation transformer, interconnection, testing, commissioning including thoroughly cleaning the fixtures and its accessories before installation including core/groove cutting of the hard standing & alignment of fittings with instruments and jointing with existing pipes for wires including fixing the fitting using quick setting sealant compound etc. complete as required.

Earthing with G.I pipe of 4.5 meters long x 40 mm diameter i/c accessories and providing masonry enclosures with cover plate having locking arrangement, watering pipes etc., including charcoal or coke and salt complete as required.

Providing and fixing 6 SWG GI wire along with cable for loop earthing as required.

S/L of Earth connection from earth electrode with 6 SWG GI wire in 15 mm diameter G.I pipe (Class-B ) etc., as required.
