The bidder should have at least 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a degree in B.E. Civil. They should have executed similar electrical works and similar water supply/sanitary engineering works for a minimum amount, although the specific amounts are not mentioned. The bidder should have a total value of civil engineering construction experience and should have worked as a prime contractor on similar projects. The bidder should have experience in civil engineering works of similar nature and size completed during the last five financial years. They should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 502.88 Lac in the last five years. The bidder should have also satisfactorily completed civil construction work (not less than 90% of contract value) as a prime contractor, with at least one similar work of value not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract. The bidder is required to provide details of similar nature of works executed, including the value of their previous experience. They should also provide an undertaking that they will be able to invest minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation. Additionally, the bidder should have access to lines of credit and other financial resources facilities, certified by bankers, with a value of at least 10% of the estimated contract value.
