The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the value of the works. For works more than 10.00 Lacs and up to 15.00 Lacs, the tenderer should have experience of at least two jobs equal to the bid value in the last four financial years, with a value of 1.5 times the bid value, and 5% of the bid value. For works more than 15.00 Lacs and up to 100.00 Lacs, the tenderer should have experience of at least two jobs equal to the bid value in the last four financial years, with a value of 1.5 times the bid value, and 10% of the bid value. For works more than 100.00 Lacs and up to 500.00 Lacs, the tenderer should have experience of at least two jobs equal to 75% of the bid value or one work equal to the bid value in the last four financial years, with a value of 1.5 times the bid value, and 12% of the bid value. For works of 500.00 Lacs and above, the tenderer should have experience of at least three works each equal to 40% of the bid value, or two works each equal to 60% of the bid value, or one work equal to 80% of the bid value in the last four financial years, with a value of 2 times the bid value, and 12% of the bid value. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum of five years of experience and should submit a certificate of experience from the Engineer-in-Charge of the work, not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent rank officers, for works executed during the last four financial years in government sectors. The bidder should also provide a list of works satisfactorily completed during the last four financial years, with an attested copy of the experience certificate. The experience certificates should clearly indicate the head bifurcation of works, such as Road, Drain, Sewer, Water supply, Building, Electrical, etc. The bidder should provide a list of works completed, including the date of start, date of completion, and amount of work actually executed. The bidder's performance is evaluated based on their past work experience, and they should have executed works of a certain magnitude. The bidder should have sufficient machinery, tools, and plants, as well as technical staff, including Graduate Engineers and Diploma Engineers, depending on the value of the works. The required technical staff includes: - For works up to Rs. 100 Lacs: Graduate Engineer - 2, Diploma Engineer - 2 - For works of Rs. 500 Lacs and above: Graduate Engineer - 2, Diploma Engineer - 3 The experience certificate of ongoing work should mention the amount of work done against the agreement clearly. The dealings of the firm have been observed to be cordial and reasonable, and they are not litigious. For work up to Rs. 40.00 Lakhs, the limit of the Running Bill shall be 90%, and for work above Rs. 40.00 Lakhs, the limit of Running Bill shall be 95% of the tendered amount. The contractor shall execute the whole and every part of the work in the most substantial and workmanlike manner, in strict accordance with the specifications, and confirm exactly to the designs, drawings, and instructions in writing relating to the work.
