The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the value of the work. For works more than Rs.10.00 Lacs and up to Rs.15.00 Lacs, the bidder should have at least four financial years of experience with two jobs equal to the bid value, and the value and percentage of similar works completed are 1.5 times the bid value and 5% of the bid value respectively. For works more than Rs.15.00 Lacs and up to Rs.100.00 Lacs, the bidder should have at least four financial years of experience with two jobs equal to the bid value, and the value and percentage of similar works completed are 1.5 times the bid value and 10% of the bid value respectively. For works more than Rs.100.00 Lacs and up to Rs.500.00 Lacs, the bidder should have at least four financial years of experience with two jobs equal to the bid value or one work equal to 75% of the bid value, and the value and percentage of similar works completed are 1.5 times the bid value and 12% of the bid value respectively. For works of Rs.500.00 Lacs and above, the bidder should have at least four financial years of experience with three works each equal to 40% of the bid value, or two works each equal to 60% of the bid value, or one work equal to 80% of the bid value, and the value and percentage of similar works completed are 2 times the bid value and 12% of the bid value respectively. Additionally, for works of 2000.00 Lacs and above, the bidder should have at least four financial years of experience with three works each equal to 40% of the bid value, or two works each equal to 60% of the bid value, or one work equal to 80% of the bid value. The bidder should also provide a list of works satisfactorily completed during the last four financial years, with an attested copy of the experience certificate. The experience certificate should clearly indicate the head bifurcation of works, such as Road, Drain, Sewer, Water supply, Building, Electrical, etc. The bidder shall furnish a proof showing that he has a work experience of last four financial years unless qualifies for relaxation, supported with each year experience certificates. All the working contractors shall be eligible for a relaxation of 20% in the value of turnover and liquid assets or Solvency certificate required in particular tender. The bidder should have a minimum of five years of experience and submit a certificate of experience from the Engineer-in-Charge of the work, not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent rank officers, for works executed during the last four financial years in government sectors. The performance of the firm has been found to be good and they are considered capable of executing the works of magnitude up to a certain amount. The financial position of the firm appears to be sound and they are capable of executing works in accordance with the specifications and within the specified time schedule.
