Background The Country’s Strategy Has Shifted Towards Further Reducing Disease Burden And Sustaining Leprosy Control Activities, Most Importantly At The Community Level. The National Leprosy Program Needs Support To Attain The National And Global Goals Of A Leprosy-free World. This Will Require Cooperation Between Public And Private Sectors And All Levels Of Healthcare. The Modified Leprosy Elimination Campaign, To Be Conducted In The Selected Provinces, Aims For The Following: • Conduct Systematic Screening Of All Household Contacts Of At Least 80% Of The Leprosy Affected Persons Registered In The Past Five Years In The Selected Provinces. • Provide Post-exposure Prophylaxis To Eligible People • Train Frontline Workers And Supervisors By Engaging Them During The Systematic Screening Campaign.   Purpose/specific Objective Of The Activity To Support The Leprosy Elimination And Control Through Leprosy Alert Response Network System (learns), Modified Leprosy Elimination Campaign (mlec) And Post-exposure Prophylaxis (pep).   Description Of Activities To Be Carried Out Output/s Output 1: (inception Report) Plan To Conduct The Systematic Screening Submitted & Presented Output 2: Systematic Screening Of All Household Contacts Of At Least 80% Of The Leprosy Affected Persons Registered In The Past Five Years Conducted Output 3: Mid-term Report Of The Project Submitted And Presented Output 4: Full Report Of The Project Submitted   Methods To Carry Out The Activity Deliverables: Deliverable 1.1: Meet The Concerned Representatives Of The Department Of Health And World Health Organization To Present The Draft Plan (the Targets And Budget Are Negotiable) Deliverable 1.2: Submit The Final Plan To The World Health Organization Country Office, Philippines Deliverable 2.1: Meet Local Authorities To Seek Approval For The Systematic Screening Deliverable 2.2: Conduct The Systematic Screening With Frontline Workers And Supervisors, In Collaboration With Municipal Health Officer And/or Other Concerned Officers Using Learns Deliverable 2.3: Provide Post-exposure Prophylaxis To Eligible People Deliverable 3.1: Submit A Mid-term Report (along With The Raw, Analysable Dataset) On The Activities Conducted Along With All Relevant Photos Deliverable 4.1: Submit A Full Report (along With The Raw, Analysable Dataset) On The Activities Conducted Along All Relevant Photos.   Qualifications & Experience Experience Essential: The Agency Should Have Had At Least Five Years Of Experience In The Field Of Public Health.
