Background Many People Living With Hiv Face Stigma And Discrimination, And Hence, Do Not Have Equitable Access Social Protection And Justice. According To The Asia Pacific Regional Analysis Of Plhiv Stigma Index (2011), At Least 1 In 10 Filipinos Living With Hiv Experience Exclusion In Family, Social, And Religious Gatherings, Based On Hiv Status And Other Reasons, Namely Secondary To Sexual Orientation And Occupation. Furthermore, At Least 20% Have Experienced Verbal Insults And Have Been Gossiped About, And Some Are Physically Assaulted And Abused. In Their Workplaces, 1 In 10 Have Experienced Denial Of Promotion Due To Hiv Status. Ultimately, Almost Half Of The Respondents Felt Suicidal In The Past 12 Months Due To These Experiences. While Almost All Are Aware Of Hiv-related Policies And Support Groups, Only 17% Have Accessed Redress Mechanisms Among Those Who Have Experienced Human Rights Abuses And Being Scared And Having Insufficient Funds Are Among The Common Reasons For Not Seeking Legal Redress. The Passage Of The Republic Act 11166 Philippine Hiv And Aids Policy Act In 2018 Has Been A Hope Of Human Rights (hr) Violation Victims As Upholding Of Hr Is The Core Guiding Principle Of The Aforementioned Law. Hence, There Is Opportunity To Increase Access To Legal Protection Services, Especially Among Those Whose Human Rights Are Violated Based On Hiv Status And Identifying With A Particular Key Population Characteristic.   Purpose/specific Objective Of The Activity To Develop An Informational, Educational, And Communication (iec) Materials On Human Rights For Hiv Services.   Description Of Activities To Be Carried Out Task: Development Of Iec Materials On Human Rights Deliverable 1: Collection And Review Relevant Materials And Consultation With Key Stakeholders, Including Kp Groups (msm, Tgw, Pwid, And Sex Workers), Especially On Their Preferences For Iec Modality Deliverable 2: Iec Materials On Hr Based On The Legal Literacy Training Module Deliverable 3: Field Testing Of Iec Materials   Methods To Carry Out The Activity In Close Collaboration With The National Aids, Sti Prevention And Control Program (naspcp), The Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc.
