The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the bidder must have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Each non-lead member of the Joint Venture (JV) must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed one similar single work for a minimum of 10% of the cost of any component of work mentioned in the technical eligibility criteria. No technical and financial credentials are required for tenders having a value up to Rs 50 lakh. The bidder must have prior work experience, with specific requirements for similar works completed. For the major component of the work, the bidder must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 7 years, one similar single work for a minimum value. For joint ventures (JV), each non-lead member must have technical capacity of minimum 10% of the cost of any component of work mentioned in technical eligibility criteria, with each non-lead member having satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 7 years, one similar single work for a minimum of 10% of the cost of any component of work. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
