The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - For Technical Personnel for construction work: - A. Degree Holder in Civil Engineering / Experienced Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering: 10 years in construction, with 3 years experience in road works. - B. Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering: 3 years experience in road works. - C. Others (Specify): Supervisor, Science Graduate with 3 years experience, and 4 years experience for field testing laboratory. - For routine maintenance: - A. Degree Holder in Civil Engineering: 3 years experience in road works. - B. Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering: 3 years experience in road works. The bidder should have a minimum of 3 years of road experience. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least the estimated cost of the project. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. In the last five years, the bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover, with at least 50% of which is from Civil Engineering construction works, equivalent to: - 60% of the amount put to bid, if the amount put to bid is Rs.200 lakhs or less, - 75% of the amount put to bid, if the amount put to bid is more than Rs.200 lakhs. However, in Naxal / Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts, the figures of 60% and 75% would be replaced by 50%. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this sub-clause. The bidder can subcontract components of the works for construction/up-gradation, aggregating to not more than 25 percent of the contract price.
