The Council Wishes To Invite Tenders For The Supply Of Services For Home To School Or College Transport For Residents Based In Rutland On A Number Of Routes As Defined In The Schedules. Lot Requirements: Lot 1- All Primary, Secondary And Post-16 Education Buses. Bids On Individual Routes Within Lot 1 Will Not Be Accepted. Bidders Can Submit A Bid Under Lot 1 For Contract 1 Or Contract 2 Or Both. Lot 2- Specialist Transport Services (minibus & Taxi) A Bidder May Submit As Many Bids For Routes Within Lot 2, As They Wish. There Are No Restrictions. Please Specify The Price Per Day For Operation. Lot 3 – Pence Per Mile Taxis Bids For This Lot Will Be Used To Establish A Framework For Identifying Potential Suppliers Of: • Short Notice Requirements • Short Term Route Requirements • Emergency Transport Services The Council Will Offer These Requirements To Suppliers In Turn According To Their Pence Per Mile Rate On A Ranked Basis.
