The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the contract value. For contract works up to 2 Crore, the bidder should have a degree in Civil Engineering or a diploma in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience. For contract works above 2 Crore, the bidder should have a degree in Civil Engineering or a diploma in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience. Additionally, for Junior Engineer (Civil) or B.Sc. (P.C.M.), 1 year of experience is required. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work equal to 80% of the estimated cost of work, or at least two similar works of 50% cost of work, or at least three similar works equal to 35% of the estimated cost of work. The similar works should be of piling work 1200 mm dia & 24 M depth. The bidder should also provide information on the total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years, with a certificate from a Chartered Accountant, valued in Rs. in lakhs. The total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years should be at least the amount equal to the estimated cost of works, indexed at the rate of 8 percent for a year. Information on similar works completed should include project name, name of employer, description of work, value of contract, contract number, date of issue of work order, stipulated date of completion, and actual date of completion. The bidder should also provide information on existing commitments and ongoing construction works, including the value of works remaining to be completed, and the anticipated date of completion.
