The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - For Degree Holder in Civil Engineering: Minimum 2 years of experience - For Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering: Minimum 2 years of experience The bidder should have completed at least one similar work equal to 40% of the estimated cost of the work for which the bid is invited. Additionally, the bidder is required to have achieved a minimum financial turnover volume of construction work of at least one third the amount of the estimated cost of works in three years. The bidder should also have satisfactorily completed, as prime contractor, at least three similar type of work in previous three years. The amount of earnest money is Rs. 4,50,550.00, and a 3% performance security will be submitted after acceptance of the tender. The available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value. The bidder should demonstrate having experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts, in case of a package of contracts. For contract works up to Rs. 5.0 Crores and above Rs. 5.0 Crores, the experience requirements vary for different qualifications. The total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited should be mentioned, with a certificate from a Chartered Accountant. The value of similar works completed should be in the range of the estimated cost of the work for which the bid is invited, with specific percentages mentioned for insurance deductibles, such as 10% of the contract value. The bidder must also demonstrate access to financial resources, with a minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments of 10% of the contract value.
