Background Who Has Supported The Government To Revise The Rmncah 2016-2025 Strategy. Key Revisions Include: Improvement On Health Care Quality And Respectful Care Through Emphasis On Counselling Skills For Providers Shift To “people-centred” Approached To Increase Efficiency And Quality Improve Equity Of Access To Quality Services Through The Emphasis Of Basic Routine Care To Prevent The Need For Higher Level Care And Strengthening The Primary Health Care (phc) Through Community Engagement Moreover, Several Rmncah Sub-committee Teams Have Developed And Endorsed Guidelines And Sops That Have Not Yet Been Scaled Up To The Health Centre Level Nation-wide, As It Is The Case Also For The Continued Provision Of Safe Essential Services In The Era Of Covid-19. The Revised Mch Handbook Provides A Tangible Support In Promoting These Different Objectives And The Government Has Requested Who Support To Build Capacity At The Health Centres In Provision Of “people-centered” Services And Therefore Strengthen Primary Health Care. In Addition To The Support To The Health System For Phc, The Government Is Working Towards The Development Of A More Effective Community Engagement Model That Aims At Reducing Equity Issues In Health. Who Is Currently Supporting Tropical And Public Health Institute (tphi) And Mch Centre To Develop A Participatory Planning Workshop With Health Centre And Villages To Engage Community To Increase Uptake Of Essential Mch Services. These Two Areas Of Work Aim To Strengthen Phc From Both Supply And Demand Sides.   Purpose/specific Objective Of The Activity To Support The Government In The Revision, Field Testing, Finalization And Roll Out Of A People-centred Integrated Training In Essential Service Provisions For Health Centres In The Era Of Covid-19, Based On The Mch Handbook. To Support The Government In The Next Step Of The Development Of A Community Engagement Model   Description Of Activities To Be Carried Out • Revise Training Module On “people-centred Mch Service Provision” • Support Government Of Laos In The Roll Out Of The Training Module • Support Government Of Laos In The Uptake Of Essential Rmnch Services At Primary Health Care Level Resulting From Output 2 And The Ongoing Community Engagement Work • Support Government In The Monitoring Of The Interventions Above   Methods To Carry Out The Activity • Meetings With Government Counterparts, Who Country Office, Relevant Stakeholders • Technical Revision Of Translations, Training Module, Tot Modules • Technical Support During Training And Workshop • Field Visits   Qualifications & Experience Education:  Essential:   First University Degree In Medicine, Midwifery Or Nursing   Experience Essential: • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Working Experience In Mch. • Experience In Training Health Workers In Lao Pdr And Community Health   Technical Skills & Knowledge • Knowledge Of The Mch Handbook, Mch Related Guidelines, Health Centre People Centred Care Training Modules • Knowledge Of The Lao Health System And Rmncah Strategy • Training Design Skills And Training Skills In Lao Context   Languages English Is Required.
