Rfp For Consultancy Services From Qualified Firms For The ‘survey, Assessment And Design For The Stabilization, Restoration & Rehabilitation Of The Al Tahera Syriac Catholic Church, In Mosul, Iraq’ The Overall Scope Of This Assignment Is To To Investigate And Document The Existing Conditions And To Produce The Necessary Architectural, Structural, And Services Design Drawings, Specifications, And Bidding Documents Needed For Undertaking The Stabilization, Restoration & Rehabilitation Of The Al Tahera Syriac Catholic Church In Mosul, Iraq. To Attain This Objective, Unesco Is Looking For A Committed Contractor With Specific Experience In The Field Of Stabilization & Restoration Of Tangible Heritage.   The Specific Objectives Of This Assignment Are To: 1) Design Structural Solutions To Existing Emergency Conditions; 2) Survey And Document The Existing Conditions Of The Site And Buildings; 3) Prepare & Present Schematic Design Options; 4) Prepare, Submit & Present Preliminary & Final Design Drawings, Specifications, Bill Of Quantities For The Works And Work Plan, Including Bid Documents For The Actual Execution Of The Works; 5) Provide Limited Supervision, Consultation, And Site Visits During The Actual Stabilization, Restoration & Rehabilitation Work Conceptually, The Work Sequence Can Be Broken Down Into Three Phases: A) Collection Of The Field Data & Analysis Of The Current Conditions; B) Elaboration Of The Design Solutions For The Stabilization, Restoration And Rehabilitation Of The Site And Buildings; C) Limited Supervision Of The Works.
