The subject of the procedure is the procurement of a liquid scintillation counter, including installation, commissioning, instruction and training, for the operation of an isotope laboratory. The liquid scintillation counter is required for the measurement of beta-emitting radionuclides. Direct measurement without calibration should be possible for e.g. H-3, C-14, S-35, P-32, P-33, Ca-45. TDCr counting technology for beta-emitting radionuclides is required. The measuring device should be compatible with commercially available LSC vials (mini and 20ml) and LSC cocktails. An autosampler for at least 50 or more vials must be available. A computer for controlling the device must be included. Standards for periodic inspection of the system must be included.
