A. Nature Of Services: This Solicitation Is For The Inspection, Repair And Resurfacing Of Five (5) Water Tanks Which Are Used For Holding Both Domestic Water And Fire Protection At The United Nations Headquarters Located At 405 East 42nd Street, New York, Ny The Contractor Will Be Responsible For Providing All Equipment Required For Testing The Integrity Of Tanks And Providing Fire Watch During Any Down Time Of Fire Tanks And Repairs To The Tanks And Take Away All Debris/existing Coating. The Pricing Should Be All Inclusive Of Shipping And Handling Charges. The Contractor Should Provide Samples Of Various Coatings Available, Warranties And Pricing. They Will Provide Manufactures Installation Instructions For These Coating And Install As Per These Instructions. Any Sections Of The Existing Tanks That Do Not Meet Minimum Integrity Requirements Shall Be Replaced Prior To The Installation Of Any Coatings. B. Location Of Premises: The United Nations Is An Independent International Organization, Whose Headquarters Is Located In Mid-town Manhattan, At 405 East 42nd Street, New York 10017. C. Duration: This Project Must Commence Prior To December 31, 2020 Be Completed No Later Than March 31, 2020. It Can Be Split Over Several Workdays However, The Tanks May Only Be Taken Out Of Service During Non-working Hours, And Never In A Manner When Multiple Tanks Are Removed From Service At The Same Time.
