Emergency Hospitalization Services, 24/7 Helpline And Issuance Of Guarantees Of Payment (gops) & The United Nations Office At Geneva (unog), On Behalf Of The United Nations Staff Mutual Insurance Society Against Sickness And Accident (unsmis), Is Seeking To Enter Into A 5-year Contract (3+2 Years) With A Qualified Provider Of Emergency Hospitalization Services, A Toll Free 24/7 Helpline, As Well As The Issuance Of Guarantees Of Payment (gops). The Coverage Sought Extends Beyond Staff Members And Includes Also Eligible Family Members And Retirees Of Organizations, Funds And Programs Participating In Unsmis. It Aims Primarily At Covering Staff Residing Outside Of Europe. This Contract Will Also Cover Insured Members Travelling On Leisure. Coverage Should Not Be Limited To Duty Station, Country Of Residence Or Official Working Hours. The 24/7 Helpline Should Be Accessible Worldwide, Toll Free And Only In Case Of Emergencies. Support Must Be Provided In At Least English And French. The Provider Shall Issue Guarantees Of Payment (gops) To Clinics/hospitals Worldwide In Case Of Emergencies And Shall Arrange Admission To Reputable Medical Facilities. The Provider Will Be Required To React Within One (1) Hour In Case Of Emergency Hospitalizations.
