Provision Of Preventive Maintenance And Repair Services Of Fire Prevention And Protection Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, Fire Extinguishers, And The Provision Of Fire Extinguishers At The United Nations Global Service Centre (ungsc) In Brindisi, Italy. & The United Nations Global Service Centre (ungsc) Is Seeking Expressions Of Interest From Qualified Companies For The Provision Of Preventive Maintenance And Repair Services Of Fire Prevention And Protection Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, Fire Extinguishers, And The Provision Of Fire Extinguishers At The United Nations Global Service Centre (ungsc) In Brindisi, Italy. The Requirement Will Be Divided Amongst The Three Distinct Service Units At The Ungsc (central Services, Supply Chain Services, And Service For Geospatial, Information, & Telecommunications Technologies (sgitt), And It Will Encompass Three Different Services, As Outlined Below: Part 1: Maintenance And Repair Services Of Fire Prevention And Protection Systems At The United Nations Global Service Centre (ungsc), Brindisi. The All-encompassing Maintenance Scope Comprises Of Inspections, Testing, And Upkeep For Fire Prevention Systems, Encompassing Fire Hydrants, Gaseous Extinguishing Systems, Sprinkler And Pumping Systems, Fire Detection Systems, And Smoke And Heat Evacuator Systems. The Activities Involve Functional Testing, Verification, And Requisite Replacements. The Overarching Scope For All Systems Entails Strict Adherence To A Maintenance Schedule, Meticulous Record-keeping, Prompt Emergency Response, Assurance Of Compliance With Regulations, And The Implementation Of Necessary System Upgrades. Part 2: Maintenance Of Fire Suppression On The Infrastructures Operations Section (ios) Critical System At United Nations Global Service Centre (ungsc), Brindisi The Selected Vendor Shall Provide All Labor, Material, Supervision, Tooling And Miscellaneous Hardware And Consumables For The Maintenance Of All Fire Suppression Systems. Some Of The Services Are Listed Below But Are Not Limited To The Maintenance Of The Existing Fm200/hfc227 And Hfc 125 Fire Suppression Systems As Well As Argon Ig-01 Fire Suppression Systems, All Located At The Ungsc, Brindisi. The Vendor Must Update And/or Release The Software Capable To Manage The Following Hardware: A) Central Unit 8000c Esser With Accessories (sirens, Alarm Call, Smoke Detectors, Transponders); B) Vesda Laser Smoke Detector Xtralis C) Micro Mds Smartline Inim (fire Extinguishing Module) As Per The Un Standards The Monitoring Tool Must Operate On The Virtual Machine In Accordance With The Un-oict Standard Operating System Policy. Quality Assurance Shall Be Maintained Considering The Following: A) Uni 10877 Gaseous Fire Extinguishing Systems - Physical Properties And System Design B) Uni 9795 Design, Installation And Operation Of Fixed Automatic Fire Alarm Detection And Signaling Systems. C) C.e. Mark All Equipment Replaced During Maintenance Must Be Stamped With The C.e. Mark. Products Without This Mark Will Not Be Allowed. All Electrical Equipment Replaced During Maintenance Must Be Fully Compliant With The Two Standards Below: I. Cei Standards And Related Specifications. Ii. Cei-unel-cenelec Uni Tables Circular N. 85 Dated 8 November 1966 Regulation (ec) N. 304/2008 Of The Commission, Dated 2 April 2008: The Vendor Shall Submit Proof Of Registration F-gas License Required To Perform Installations And Maintenance On Fire Suppression Systems With Gas Bottles That Contain Chemical Gases. This Regulation Establishes, In Compliance With The Regulation (ce) N. 842/2006 Of The European Parliament And Of The Council, The Minimum Requirements And The Conditions For Mutual Recognition Of The Certification Of Companies And Personnel With Regard To Fixed Fire Protection Systems And Extinguishers Containing Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases. Uni En 54: Fire Detection And Fire Alarm Systems – Compatibility And Connectivity Assessment Of System Components: Vendor Should Meet The Requirements For The Compatibility Of Components Of Fire Detection And Fire Alarm System Or Voice Alarm System As A Subsystem Of Fire Detection And Fire Alarm System In Line With Uni En 54. Uni 11224: Initial Inspection And Maintenance Of Fire Detection Systems: Vendor Should Meet The Standard Procedures Describes For Initial Inspection, Surveillance And Periodic Inspection, Maintenance And General Verification Of Automatic Fire Detection Systems In Line With Uni 11224. Iso 14520: Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems - Physical Properties And System Design: Vendor Should Meet Fire Suppression Maintenance Standards In Line With Iso 14520. Uni 11280: Initial Inspection And Maintenance Of Gaseous Fire Extinguishing Systems: Vendor Should Meet The Standard Procedures For Initial Inspection, Surveillance And Periodic Inspection, Maintenance And General Verification Of Gaseous Fire Extinguishing Systems In Line With Uni 11280. Uni En 15004: Fixed Inert Gas Fire Prevention Systems: Vendor Should Meet The Standards Design Of The Fixed Inert Gas Fire Prevention Systems In Line With Uni En 15004. Part 3: Maintenance And Repair Service Of Fire Extinguishers, And The Provision Of New Fire Extinguishers At The United Nations Global Service Centre (ungsc), Brindisi Provision For The Fire Extinguishers, Spare Parts And Consumables Must Be In Accordance With Latest Safety European (eu) And Italian Rules And Regulations, I.e. D.lsg. 81/08 And/or Any Other Subsequent Improved Modifications Provision Of Technical Inspection, Hydrostatic Test, Maintenance, Repair, Refill, Disposal Of Unserviceable Fire Extinguishers (whenever Requested, Free Of Charge), As Per Annex C For All The Fire Extinguishers In Force At Ungsc, Brindisi, Italy. The Ungsc Is An Iso 9001 & Iso 14001 Certified Organization. Although The Contractor Does Not Necessarily Need To Be Iso 9001 & Iso 14001 Certified, They Are Required To Conform To Ungsc Requirements For Compliance With Iso 9001 And Iso 14001. Throughout The Entire Contract Period, An Italian-based Contractor Will Be Required To Be Registered With The Pertinent Professional Qualifications In The Italian Chamber Of Commerce Business Registry, In Accordance With Article 26 Of Italian Legislative Decree No. 81/08: Letter G (“impianti Di Protezione Antincendio”) Of Article 1 Of Italian Law No. 37, Dated 22/01/2008. On The Other Hand, A Foreign-based Contractor Must Be Registered With The Relevant Professional Qualifications At The Corresponding Authority In Their Country Of Origin (chamber Of Commerce Business Registry Or Official Register Or List) For The Entire Duration Of The Contract. The Contractor’s Staff Must Be Registered As Per Italian Labour Laws In The “libro Unico Del Lavoro”. Upon Ungsc’s Request And At All Times, The Contractor Shall Provide A Copy Of The Italian Durc (documento Unico Di Continuità Contributiva) Or An Equivalent Document Issued By The Labor Authorities From The Bidder’s Country Of Origin Attesting Compliance With Labor Laws, Rules, And Regulations In Accordance With The European Regulation Ce 29 April 2004 N. 883 And Implementing Regulation Ce 16 September 2009 N. 987. The Contractor Is Authorized To Subcontract All Minor Activities, Including Transportation And Supply. However, The Core Business, Specifically The Preventive Maintenance And Repair Services Of Fire Prevention And Protection Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, And Fire Extinguishers, And The Provision Of Fire Extinguishers, Remains The Exclusive Responsibility Of The Contractor. Split Awards For Each Part Of The Services May Be Considered. A Mandatory Bidder’s In-person Site Visit Will Be Scheduled At The Ungsc In Brindisi, Italy To Gather All Essential Data For Evaluating The Scope Of The Works And Submitting A Comprehensive Offer. The Resulting Contract Will Be Established For An Initial Period Of Three (3) Years, With The Ungsc's Sole Option To Extend The Term Of The Contract For Two (2) Additional Periods Of One Year Each (3+1+1).
