Paragraph 4.6 Of The Request For Proposals Refer. 3) Proposals Must Be Uploaded Via Ungm, “tender Documents” Tab No Later Than 16 October 2020 At 17:00 Hours, Geneva Time (paragraph 4.11 Of The Request For Proposals Refer). ************************************************************************************************************** Objective Of The Lta: Unitaid Requires Expert Support To Provide Guidance On The Strategic Development And Management Of Its Research-oriented Projects, Including, But Not Limited To, The Following: • Assess Implementer’s Capacity To Deliver A Research Project Effectively And Efficiently; • Evaluate The Technical Merits Of Proposed And Existing Interventions, Including The Robustness Of Research Plans; • Identify Risk And Propose Mitigation Actions; • Ensure The Research-oriented Interventions Are Aligned With The Anticipated Market And Public Health Focus Of Unitaid-funded Grants Qualification Of Firm And Consultants: The Contractor Shall Be A Public Institution, A Private Firm, Consortium Or Other Organization Operating In The Field Of Public Health, With Proven Expertise In Strategic Development And Management Of Research-oriented Projects (clinical And Operational) And Disease Expertise In The Areas Of Hiv, Tuberculosis And Malaria. The Contractor, As Well As The Proposed Consultants, Shall Have Expertise And Experience In The Followings: • Previous Work With Who, Other International Organizations And/or Major Institutions In The Field Of Global Health Is Required. • Proven Experience And Demonstrated Knowledge, Through Satisfactory Completion Of At Least Five (5) Projects/contracts Of Similar Nature In The Past Three (3) Years, In Following Areas Are Required: - Human Subject Research (clinical Trials) And Operational Research - Hiv, Tuberculosis And Malaria - Clinical Study Design And Management - Medical Ethics Relating To Research Involving Human Subjects - Conducting Due Diligence On Global Health Projects With Elements Of Clinical And/or Operational Research
