Tunbridge Wells Borough Council Is Inviting Tenders For The Concession Of A Festive Experience Event At Its Annual Ice Rink In Calverley Grounds. The Contract Term Will Be An Initial 1 Year With A Possible Three Annual Extensions (1+1+1), Extension Subject To Performance Review And Event Approval. This Year’s Event Will Run From 29 November 2024 – 5 January 2024. If Future Events Go Ahead The Ice Rink Will Open And Close At A Similar Time Period. The Ice Rink Has Been Running In Calverley Grounds For 13 Years. Last Season (2023-24) It Attracted 43,004 Skaters, With Increased Footfall To The Area From Visitors Watching The Skaters Or Who Just Come Along For A Walk Within The Grounds. Anecdotally We Had In Excess Of 80,000 Visitors In The Period.
