This Request For Standing Offers (the “rfp-standing Offer”) Is Issued By The Corporation Of The Town Of Newmarket (the “owner” Or The “town”) For The Purpose Of Establishing Standing Offers For Hazardous Materials Response Equipment, On A When And As Needed Basis as Further Described In Appendix D (the “deliverables”). The Town Intends On Awarding (up To) Three (3) Proponents.  This Is A Limited Standing Offer Only Available To Central York Fire Services.  The Owner Has Provided A List Of Required Items In Schedule 13. the Items And Associated Brand Names Listed Provide An Indication Of The Owner’s Requirements.  Should A Proponent Have A Different Brand That It Wishes To Propose They Should Submit A Question Through The Owner’s Bid Opportunity Portal. the Owner Shall Issue An Addendum To Advise On Whether The Product Is An Acceptable Equivalent To The Stated Product. the Deadline To Submit An Equivalent Product Is July 15, 2024 As Stated In Section 1.4. Note: In Accordance With Legislated Requirements The Successful Proponents Name And Subtotal Contract Amount Will Be Publicized On The Owner’s Bid Opportunities Portal Following The Issuance Of The Notice Of Award To The Successful Proponent.
